After the “Kaiserschmarrn” the night before, I started my day at the gym.

Afterwards, we drove to a local coffee roaster called “Erste Tegernseer Kaffeerösterei”. This translates to first coffee roasters Tergernsee and they do a great job there. They even made great cold brew with the machine shown in one of the photos below:

We then visited some beaches at the lake. I also ate a little Bavarian snack. It was a platter with cured meats, cheese and bread.

This day was also a local festival at Tegernsee with live music, a lot of food and drinks, dancing and a big firework. I cannot remember when I drank that much beer the last time before this day. We also got some snacks, enjoyed the traditional live music and watched the firework:

After my parents left, me and my brothers kept partying with some younger people. We were hungover the next day and went for some lunch. The place was called “Aran” and was located directly at the waterfront. They are famous for their homemade bread and great coffee.

It cured the hangover, however, I just relaxed the rest of the day. Me and my brother went to the sauna and the swimming pool at our hotel. I then enjoyed a snack (Ceviche) at the rooftop bar.

For dinner, we went to the restaurant from two nights ago. I had some Oysters, a Schnitzel and a slice of lemon meringue pie:

Afterwards, I started to drive back to my hometown and this short trip was over. I hope you got some inside of Tegernsee!

See you next time
