Hello traveler friends of the world, I am still on an adventure and you will always be part of it, so today I will take you to know the Lake Terminal of my city since it is a starting point or connection to be able to visit, know and enjoy other places or islands that are in our Lake Maracaibo.
Right in the heart of the city is located the Terminal Lacustre Comandante Supremo Hugo Rafael Chavez Frías named in honor of the former president of Venezuela but before it was called Malecón de Maracaibo, exactly in front of the Centro de Artes Lía Bermudez, in it are anchored various catamarans, ferries and small boats always ready to make some tour at the appropriate times, although in the past could be seen sailing canoes and canoes with their sails adorning the lake.
It has always been a point of entry and exit of the city and currently the routes of their boats can take us to San Carlos Island, Toas Island, Zapara Island, Ports of Altagracia, Cabimas, Muelle del Moján, among others, for quite affordable prices where you must also cancel a departure tax per person, usually tourists go to these sites on vacations, weekends or national holidays in order to enjoy the beaches and the tour.
The terminal was reopened a couple of years ago in order to enhance tourism in the region that had declined for years and being active in recent months has strengthened part of our Zulian culture and has allowed us to have these active routes to visit the coasts, peninsulas and islands near the city.
I particularly was able to visit it on a holiday, in its facilities there were many people and bathers waiting for their boarding time to the places of their choice, since most were ready with their bathing suits to enjoy a different day at the beach, I for my part was waiting for my tour managers and I was contemplating in a hallway the boats on the boardwalk on the waters of the calm Lake Maracaibo.

Hola amigos viajeros del mundo, sigo de aventura y ustedes siempre serán de ella, así que hoy los llevaré a conocer el Terminal Lacustre de mi ciudad ya que es un punto de partida o conexión para poder visitar, conocer y disfrutar de otros lugares o islas que se encuentran en nuestro Lago de Maracaibo.
Justo en el corazón de la ciudad se encuentra ubicado el Terminal Lacustre Comandante Supremo Hugo Rafael Chavez Frías nombre que lleva en honor al expresidente de Venezuela pero antes era llamado Malecón de Maracaibo, exactamente frende al Centro de Artes Lía Bermudez, en el se encuentran anclados diversos catamaranes, ferrys y pequeñas embarcaciones siempre dispuestos para realizar algunos recorrido a las horas correspondientes, aunque en el pasado podían verse navegando piraguas y canoas con su velas adornando el lago.
Siempre ha sido un punto de entrada y salida de la ciudad y actualmente las rutas de sus embarcaciones pueden llevarnos a la Isla de San Carlos, Isla de Toas, Isla de Zapara, Puertos de Altagracia, Cabimas, Muelle del Moján, entre otros, por precios bastantes accesibles en donde además se debe cancelar una tasa de salida por persona, por lo general los turistas van a estos sitios en vacaciones, fines de semana o días de feriado nacional con el fin de disfrutar de sus playas y del recorrido.
El terminal fue ignagurado nuevamente hace un par de años con la finalidad de realzar el turismo en la región que había decaído durante años y al estar activo en los últimos meses ha fortalecido parte de nuestra cultura Zuliana y ha permitido que al disponer de éstas rutas activas podamos visitar las costas, penínsulas e islas cercanas a la ciudad.
Yo particularmente pude visitarlo un día de fiesta, en sus instalaciones habían muchas personas y bañistas esperando por su hora de embarque a los lugares de su preferencia, ya que la mayoría se veían listos con sus trajes de baño para disfrutar de un día diferente en la playa, yo por mi parte esperaba a los encargados de mi tour y estuve contemplando en un pasillo las embarcaciones en el malecón sobre las aguas del calmado Lago de Maracaibo.
