Estuve visitando la ciudad de Valera y así recordar mi niña interior que lo hacía durante su infancia en compañía de mi abuelo José, esta es una hermosa ciudad que se encuentra a los pies de los Andes venezolanos y que es conocida como la ciudad de las siete Colinas debido a sus cerros, se encuentra justamente a 540 metros sobre el nivel del mar, esta es la altura que posee justamente su epicentro ubicado en la Plaza Bolivar justamente en frente de la Cátedral, es un lugar bastante visitado lleno de urbanidad y vida puesto que la mayoría de las personas viven a sus alrededores, esta ciudad se encuentra rodeada por los ríos de Motatán y Momboy, Valera es la localidad más importante, reconocida del Estado Trujillano, hasta más que la propia capital del estado que es la ciudad de Trujillo.

Ahora bien Valera es una ciudad que conforma un valle que se encuentra rodeado de siete colinas importantes y de ahí viene su dicho popular, que quiere decir la ciudad de las siete colinas qué tiende a ser muy famosa y reconocida por el resto del país, mediante este hermoso nombre esta ciudad particularmente para mí es mi ciudad sentimental puesto que en ella se encuentra resumida, prácticamente toda mi vida infancia, adolescencia y adultez ya que siempre tengo como costumbre visitar esta linda ciudad, ahora bien por medio de esta publicación les quiero mostrar la hermosa plaza Bolivar que posee en la ciudad justamente en frente de la catedral que lleva por nombre San Juan Bautista, que es una iglesia de estilo neoclasico.

Now Valera is a city that forms a valley that is surrounded by seven major hills and hence comes his popular saying, which means the city of seven hills which tends to be very famous and recognized by the rest of the country, through this beautiful name this city particularly for me is my sentimental city since it is summarized, practically all my life childhood, adolescence and adulthood since I always have as a habit to visit this beautiful city, now by means of this publication I want to show you the beautiful Bolivar square that has in the city just in front of the cathedral that is called San Juan Bautista, which is a neoclassical style church.

Cómo es costumbre toda ciudad de nuestro país Venezuela debe tener su catedral y conjuntamente en frente tener la famosa Plaza Bolívar que busca rendir un tributo especial al libertador de nuestra patria se dice que Simón Bolívar estuvo por estos suelos, en esa parte importante de la libertad y de la conquista de nuestro país, esta Plaza Bolívar se encuentra en todo el centro de la ciudad de Valera por lo que es muy fácil transcurrirla y llegar, ya que todas las busetas generalmente hacen parada en dicha localidad, es una plaza cuadrangular que presenta múltiples jardineras qué está tienden a tener diversas formas ya sea en espiral o circulares.

La plaza posee justamente en sus cuatro esquinas cuatro fuentes circulares que están tienen una pequeña estatua en la altura de su superficie que reflejan un ángel, en estas cuatro esquinas a pesar de que al transcurrir el tiempo estás fuentes se han deteriorado siguen siendo de gran relevancia para el lugar, así como también justamente al salir de la plaza enfrente de la Catedral hay una gran fuente que esta se ve que en tiempos anteriores tenía bastante paso de agua, este lugar posee diversas bancas de madera donde puedes sentarte y disfrutar de la ciudad, un punto relevante que quisiera recalcar es que una de sus jardineras posee un gran árbol en el cual se encuentran ardillas, iguanas y en tiempos pasados recuerdo observarla perezas que se encontraban en el lugar y saludaban a cada una de las personas, que iban qué mal qué estás ya no se encuentren en dicho lugar ya que le daban un encanto único.

The square has just in its four corners four circular fountains that are have a small statue at the height of its surface that reflect an angel, in these four corners despite the fact that over time these fountains have deteriorated are still of great relevance to the place, as well as just out of the square in front of the Cathedral there is a large fountain that this is seen that in earlier times had enough water flow, This place has several wooden benches where you can sit and enjoy the city, a relevant point that I would like to emphasize is that one of its planters has a large tree in which there are squirrels, iguanas and in the past I remember watching the sloths that were in the place and greeted each of the people, it was too bad that they are no longer in this place because they gave it a unique charm.

Por último justamente en el centro podemos encontrar la hermosa estatua del libertador de nuestra patria Simón Bolívar, qué diferencia de otra fue de otras plazas a las que he ido Simón Bolívar, se encuentra solo, sin estar montado en su caballo, este se encuentra de pie y con la espada en sus manos, así como también podemos ver reflejado el escudo de Venezuela, me encantó mucho esta estatua de Simón Bolívar que se encuentra elevada en su base de mármol, gracias queridos amigos viajeros por seguir conociendo lugares de la hermosa estado Trujillo, que son de gran relevancia, espero me sigan acompañando en cada una de mis aventuras viajeras nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad.
