El páramo merideño forma parte de la cordillera de los Andes Venezolanos, resulta todo un paraíso para todas esas personas que lo visitan, se encuentra ubicado en el occidente de Venezuela siendo el estado Mérida el mas visitado de los tres estados Andinos que existen el territorio nacional, cuando se visita el páramo es toda una maravilla disfrutar de la hermosa panorámica que nos ofrecen las montañas, puesto que las misma nos regala la vista mas hermosa.

Dependiendo de la época en la que lo visites pueden existir ciertas varaciones en su clima, en Enero el paramo Andino se encuentra en Verano y en esta fecha fue que lo visite, cabe destacar que el sol de igual manera es fuerte apesar que el clima sea muy frío, puesto que de igual manera los impetuosos rayos del sol son bastante fuertes, con lo que varía que de repente el sol se nubla por la nieblina, la nieblina también se pusa en las montañas para regalarnos un clima sabroso.

Una de las maravillas mas hermosas son los frailejones que se encuentran distribuidos pir todo el paramo Venezolano, esta es una planta de frio que esta presente en los distintos territorios andinos como Colombia, Peru, Ecuador y en Venezuela, esta planta habita en el paramo porque se alimenta del frío y del agua helada, como tambien del hielo, estos son totalmente hermosos así como también los mismos dan hermosas flores de distintos colores.
