Today I'm telling you about the second part, our visit to the delightful city of Porec. Porec is an Istrian city located on the coast, full of beautiful beaches and magnificent places. Porec is a much loved tourist destination, it develops near the beautiful island of St. Nicholas and the large port and is one of the most visited cities in Croatia with especially Italian, Slovenian, Austrian and German tourists. Porec has Roman origins and can be easily understood from the shape of the city and its architectural remains. First we took a simple walk around the centre, immediately arriving at the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli surrounded by a large square and typical and colorful buildings, many of which are restaurants and bars, and then continued towards smaller streets where we discovered particular buildings and a very fascinating Gothic style and many shops selling typical products such as wines, cheeses, lavender-based products, liqueurs, clothes and various types of souvenirs!

Hoy os cuento la segunda parte, nuestra visita a la encantadora ciudad de Porec. Porec es una ciudad de Istria situada en la costa, llena de hermosas playas y lugares magníficos. Porec es un destino turístico muy apreciado, se desarrolla cerca de la hermosa isla de San Nicolás y del gran puerto y es una de las ciudades más visitadas de Croacia, especialmente por turistas italianos, eslovenos, austriacos y alemanes. Porec tiene orígenes romanos y se puede entender fácilmente por la forma de la ciudad y sus restos arquitectónicos. Primero dimos un sencillo paseo por el centro, llegando inmediatamente a la iglesia de Santa Maria degli Angeli rodeada por una gran plaza y edificios típicos y coloridos, muchos de los cuales son restaurantes y bares, y luego continuamos hacia calles más pequeñas donde descubrimos edificios particulares. y un estilo gótico muy fascinante y muchas tiendas que venden productos típicos como vinos, quesos, productos a base de lavanda, licores, ropa y todo tipo de souvenirs.

Then we continued through the small and characteristic alleys and we came across the small Euphrasian basilica, an early Christian basilica which unfortunately we were unable to visit, so we continued to explore the city until we reached one of its most famous places, the old arched door arch, located in a square full of restaurants that smell delicious and a great place to take tourist photos as the arch overlooks the city and a church, then we headed towards the pier and the port where we stopped to rest, to enjoy the view of the sea and the numerous seagulls, we also found an ancient sailors' tower which has now become a restaurant! We concluded our tour with a walk from the pier to the port car park, we have always liked Porec a lot but we noticed one thing that we didn't like at all, the many price increases, truly exorbitant prices! Unfortunately for this reason I fear that we won't see Croatia again for a while!

Luego continuamos por las pequeñas y características callejuelas y nos topamos con la pequeña basílica de Eufrasio, una basílica paleocristiana que lamentablemente no pudimos visitar, por lo que seguimos explorando la ciudad hasta llegar a uno de sus lugares más famosos, el antiguo arco. arco de la puerta, ubicado en una plaza llena de restaurantes que huelen delicioso y un gran lugar para tomar fotos turísticas ya que el arco da a la ciudad y una iglesia, luego nos dirigimos hacia el muelle y el puerto donde paramos a descansar, para disfrutar de la vista. del mar y de las numerosas gaviotas, encontramos también una antigua torre de marineros hoy convertida en restaurante. Concluimos nuestro recorrido con un paseo desde el muelle hasta el aparcamiento del puerto, siempre nos ha gustado mucho Porec pero notamos una cosa que no nos gustó nada, las numerosas subidas de precios, ¡precios realmente desorbitados! Desafortunadamente, por esta razón me temo que no volveremos a ver Croacia por un tiempo.
