Namaste 🙏
Hope you all are doing great!!!
So after hiking towards the centre of the woods, we got to know that there is a hidden pond right next to that spot we were standing at so we went in search of that hidden pond and found that beautiful pond a few minutes away from where we were standing.
We saw the pond from a distance and realise how beautiful it looked. It was partially frozen and was partially covered with mud. The snow was on the top of it and it reflected a greenish colour from inside. There was not much water inside of the pond right now as it was winter time. These were some assumptions that we made while seeing the pond from a distance. Now I wanted to go near to the pond.
It was quite a narrow passage towards the pond between the woods and a huge rock that was laying around on our way. They were dried out pine leaves fallen on the ground.
As we got near to the pond, we realise that this lake was being fed from an underground source rather than water coming from a stream. There was no stream of water that was feeding this on and the bubbles were coming out of the pond bed. When we sat there to notice from where the water was coming from, so it was confirmed that this pond was fed from an underground source.
It was a beautiful porn situated in between woods and the reflection of the tall tree was clearly visible from the clean water present inside of the pond. It was very shallow with depth around 2 to 3 feet only.
It is rightly said that where there is water, there is life. We could clearly see that on the sides of the lake by the presence of animal dung on the forest floor. It indicated that some mammals live near to this area and they consume the water that’s present in the pond.
There were many trees present in the forest, but this particular little tree caught my eye. Just look at it how beautiful it was looking covered in snow, and it was protecting the land that was present. Vineet hit from Snow and it made a kind of circle in the land that was looking really mesmerising. This is my favourite photo from all of the photos that I captured. Let me know in the comments. What do you think about it?
This pond was around 50 x 50’ maximum, and it was quite easy to revolve around it so we did a couple of revolutions around it and captured it from all the sides. It was looking amazing from everywhere and just even the thought of seeing a himalayan pond in the middle of woods is quite intimidating, and seeing that in real life is more intermediating.
While roaming around the pond, we realised that fever quite near to the edge of the forest. As we saw from the other side, we wanted to go to the edge now, so we started our journey and walked in the snow towards the edge of the forest.
On our way, there was a lot of snow and we were walking on the snow. We also saw many dried out bushes as there was only one stick of those bushes left on the ground because of the cold weather and it was looking absolutely unique. It was something that you don’t see every day the sticks coming out of the snow randomly from the ground.
At first, it looked like someone has manually put these sticks on the ground and later only we realise that these are sticks from some kind of bush that got dried out because of the snow.
We kept on walking in the snow. It was quite easy this time as there was no loop at all. We were standing in a plane region with no slope, and the journey towards the edge of the forest was quite easy. We kept on walking to find another spot of those sticks. We crossed that to come near to the edge.
Now we were almost at the edge and they were only a couple of huge pine tree on the edge that was ahead of us. We could see The Mountain next to the mountain range that was ahead of us, and it was looking really beautiful.
We reached there at the time of sunset, and I consider myself lucky to witness the sunset as it was one of the most beautiful sunset that I have ever seen in my life. I don’t have any words for it so just see the photograph and witness the sunset to yourself.!!!
It was a very beautiful coincidence. That happened that we reached the edge at the time of perfect sunset, just at the time when sun was kissing the top of the mountain and the rays that were scattering on the clouds were looking really dramatic.
That’s all for today.
Thanks for passing by and giving your precious time.
Peace ☮️

Excellent that they were able to find the lake and that they coincided with the sunset. These are moments that are not forgotten with so much silent beauty that you show us.

It's so great that you discovered the pond, and being able to watch the sunset at the right moment from the perfect spot is just a wonderful end to the day 😇.
