Hi Hi Hiver’s! The Philippines is composed of 7,641 islands. These islands range from large, medium and small. Large islands are Luzon and Mindanao while medium islands are found in Visayas. The smaller islets are found all over the archipelago in the Philippines. So, for today's blog let me share with you all our quick escape into The beautiful and relaxing Blue Reef Island Resort,located in Marigondon Tongo, Lapu-lapu City Cebu Philippines.

We have been staying home for a while so I think we need to go out and have some fun. We need a break from Monday to Friday, busy days in school for my daughters. I am also getting tired of sending and pickicking my daughters from school. Imagine waking up early in the morning to prepare and send them to school and then picking them under a hot sunny mid day? It was a tiring drivers job right.We agreed to have a family time on an Island resort.

The Blue Reef Island Resort is almost one hour away from our home . I wake up early to prepare our stuff and cook food for lunch. Before we left home we made a family prayer for safety and protection. We pray that we arrive at our destination safe and sound then comeback safe and sound too. Praying also for good weather so we would enjoy our quick escape.

Finally , we arrived safe and sound. I do the check-in matters like paying the entrance fee for one hundred and fifty pesos only per head. I chose our cottage where it is not that hot or not too much exposed to the sun. I am glad the resort guide was very attentive and gave us what we needed.

It was exactly nine in the morning when we settled ourselves in the cottage then rested for a while. We walk around the resort and find out that the place is not only beautiful but also very relaxing. They have slides in different corners and you just have to choose which slides you would like. My daughters do not go to the slides because according to them they are not kids anymore. They just enjoy swimming and laughing together. I enjoyed watching the children enjoying the slides. I also keep an eye to my daughters, the love of my life.

The place was awesome, it has limestones. The resort developed it and put cottages above the limestone rocks. The water is clear and clean. Which makes the vibes so relaxing.

The resort also has a small children playground and a canteen if you need soft drinks or if you do not bring food. They also have rooms to stay for travelers or for overnight. I am glad we had a quick escape to this resort. Being able to feel the Seabreeze ,make memories and recharge myself so I can have energy to enjoy life with my family. We go back home at 4pm and felt recharge with happy memories.
