Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Mirano / Церква Святого Михайла Архангела в Мірано ( En/Ua )

Hello to all lovers of beauty! Hello travel lovers!
On Wednesday, I visited the town of Mirano, which is not far from Venice. Also, this city is close to Fornaze Spinea, where I currently live.
This small town is famous for its villas and parks. I could sit in the comfort of the trees and think... about peace in Ukraine, about a happy life at home, about my family scattered around the world....
On the way to the center, I met a large, but unremarkable gray church. A brick bell tower with a stone foundation rises nearby. This is the Duomo Church or the Church of St. Michael the Archangel.

В середу я побувала в містечку Мірано, що знаходиться недалеко від Венеції. Також це місто знаходиться близько від Форназе Спінея, де я в даний час проживаю.
Це невелике місто славиться своїми віллами і парками. Я могла посидіти в затишку дерев і подумати.... про мир в Україні, про щасливе життя дома, про свою сім'ю, що розкидана по світу....
По дорозі до центру мені зустрілася велика, але нічим непримітна сіра церква. Поряд височіє цегляна з камяним фундаментом дзвіниця. Це церква Дуомо або Церква Святого Михайла Архангела.

The church was built in the 17th century. It was built for almost 100 years. Baroque style. No decorations on top. But when you go inside, you get into the treasury, which stores wonderful works of Italian artists. These are paintings, frescoes and statues.

Церква була побудована в 17 столітті. Вона будувалась майже 100 років. Стиль бароко. Зверху без прикрас. Зате зайшовши в середину ви попадаєте в скарбницю, що зберігає чудові твори італійських митців. Це картини, фрески і статуї.

The church has excellent acoustic properties. On the mountain there is a pipe organ that accompanies church services.

Церква має чудові акустичні властивості. На горі знаходиться трубний орган, що супроводжує церковні служби.

There is a real diamond in the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel. This is the painting "St. Anthony performing a miracle." It is the work of Giambattista Tiepolo, painted in 1760.

В соборі Святого Михайла Архангела знаходиться справжній діамант. Це картина ,,Святий Антоній робить чудо". Це робота Джамбаттісти Т'єполо, написана в 1760 році.

The statues of angels on both sides of the altar and the statue of Archangel Michael were created by the sculptor Asolo Giuseppe Torretto, the master of Antonio Canova. The beautiful Altar is a priceless creation of a talented craftsman.

Статуї ангелів, що знаходяться по обох боках вівтаря та статуя Архангела Михаїла, створені скульптором Асоло Джузеппе Торретто, майстра Антоніо Канова.
Прекрасний Вівтар являється безцінним витвором талановитого майстра.

The ceiling of the cathedral caught my attention. A huge picture of the Last Judgment, painted by Belluno artist Giovanni De Min. This majestic picture became the most outstanding work of this artist.

Мою увагу привернула стеля собору. Величезна картина Страшного суду, написана художником Беллуно Джованні Де Мін. Ця велична картина стала найвизначнішим твором цього митця.

I moved from one painting to another, from one sculpture to another. I looked into the eyes of the saints. I was looking for answers to my questions... I think they will come later... Not all at once! Italians have a favorite phrase: "Abbi pazienza!" This means you have to be patient.

Я переходила від однієї картини до іншої, від однієї скульптури до іншої. Я вдивлялася в очі святих. Я шукала відповіді на свої запитання... Думаю, що вони будуть згодом...Не все відразу! Італійці мають улюблену фразу : "Аbbi pazienza!" Це значить треба мати терпіння.

I am satisfied with my trip to Mirano. And even more because I was able to see priceless copies of the works of Italian artists. I recommend visiting the church to everyone nearby.

Я задоволена своєю мандрівкою до Мірано. А ще більше тим, що змогла побачити безцінні екземпляри творів італійських художників. Рекомендую побувати в церкві всім хто знаходиться поблизу.
