From HERE to THERE: Chasing Views at Tuburan 360

After our refreshing visit to Molo Bolo Spring, we decided to keep the momentum going by checking out a place we’ve only heard thrilling stories about: **Tuburan 360**. It was my first time there, and honestly, we were just curious if the hype was real. It didn’t disappoint but getting there was a whole adventure in itself. 😂

Actually, it was my first time going to 360, and we were just really curious because others kept saying the road going there was super thrilling. And yes, it was true! It’s quite a long ride just to get there, and you have to pass through mountainous areas. Thankfully, the roads are paved, so it’s manageable for cars. But it's risky during rainy season because of possible landslides—like I said, it’s located at the top of a mountain.

Some people call 360 a hidden gem—and it really feels like it! You’ll go through a lot of steep roads just to reach the place. I swear, my stomach was doing backflips the whole way there! 😂

But once you get there, they offer a variety of drinks and desserts. There’s a café with milkshakes, coffee, and more. It’s actually a perfect place for meditating because you get a full view of what’s happening below, plus the mountain scenery is stunning.

When we got there, we just ordered some desserts—cake, milkshakes, and coffee. We weren’t really planning to have a full meal. We just wanted to stop by and experience the adventure. 😅

It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for nature lovers. You’ll be surrounded by nothing but nature. But maybe not ideal for overthinkers or you might end up constantly asking yourself “What if's?”... like “What if a landslide happens?” 😂

But seriously, as long as the weather is good, the place is totally safe and worth the visit.

How to Get There?

Actually, the route to get there really depends on where you're coming from.
For example, if you're from somewhere in San Remigio, you'll most likely pass through Dapdap, then just keep going until you reach Tabuelan. You can also ask locals along the way to guide you if you're unsure which turns to take to get to Tuburan.

On the other hand, if you're coming from Cebu City, you can take the Transcentral Highway heading towards Balamban. Just keep driving until you reach Tuburan town proper.

Whether you take a bus, van, or drive your own vehicle is up to you—but having your own service is definitely more convenient.

Helpful tips for the journey:
  • Best time to visit: You can visit anytime, but if you want to capture beautiful sunset views, late afternoon is the ideal time to go.
  • What to bring?: Wear something comfortable so you can fully enjoy the experience. And don’t forget to bring water and, of course, a camera to capture every moment!
  • Safety reminder: Don’t rely too much on the fact that the road is paved. If possible, check the weather ahead of time to make sure it's safe and ideal for your trip.

Personally, I don’t recommend heading home too late especially when it’s already dark. The roads going to and from Tuburan 360 can be risky at night and more prone to accidents when visibility is low. That’s why when we go there, we made sure to leave around 5 to almost 6 PM, just before it got too dark.

So that's it for todays blog I hope you enjoy reading. ☺ And consider visiting this place if you want. 😄
