Hi guys!
Today we continue with the tour of the coastal buildings of Montenegro. Today we are in the center of the Montenegrin coast, which is the city of Budva.
Budva is one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic coast and is located in Montenegro. The city is known for its rich history, beautiful beaches, old town and lively nightlife.
Budva has a history of over 2,500 years. According to legend, it was founded by the Phoenicians, and was later ruled by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Slavs and Venetians. The old town of Budva has been preserved and represents a real historical treasure. The old town is the most famous part of Budva, with narrow, stone streets, small squares, churches and a fortress. The old town is surrounded by walls dating back to the Middle Ages, and here you can find numerous shops, cafes and restaurants.
Here we passed the Hotel Montenegro, which we heard was really excellent.
Budva is known for its beautiful beaches, such as Mogren, Slovenska plaža, Jaz, Bečići and many others. The beaches are mostly sandy or pebbly and offer numerous activities such as swimming, diving, sailing and water sports.
Here in the picture you can see Bečići beach. It's really beautiful. The sea is warm and clean, and the sand is beautiful.
Budva is the center of Montenegrin nightlife, with numerous clubs, bars and restaurants that are popular among tourists. The city is especially lively during the summer season, when it attracts young people from all over the region.
Budva hosts various cultural events, including music festivals, theater performances and art exhibitions. The most famous event is the Budva Carnival, which takes place every year.
Here we went to the beach in another part of the city. There were rocks around us and the environment is completely natural. A truly magical experience!
Budva is one of the most visited tourist destinations on the Adriatic. The city attracts tourists from all over the world due to its natural beauty, historical heritage and rich tourist offer. Budva is an ideal destination for those looking for a combination of culture, history, nature and fun.
