Hello friends
I am glad you enjoyed the post on Volterra, today I want to tell you about another very special town, where its inhabitants have created something very special to attract tourists, so they have managed to save the town economically.
We are talking about a village called Caprio, which most of you will certainly not know. It is located in the province of Massa Carrara, but it is worth a visit just for the fact that the village still retains the beautiful structure of the medieval houses, but the inhabitants wanted to go further.
I would like to thank my friend Anna, who lives nearby and who introduced me to this place, which I would probably never have discovered otherwise.
They basically created a cat trail, with all cats created in an artistic way, using recycled material, and in this way they also beautified the village.
Each person gave vent to their creativity, some made drawings on stones, some embroidered the cat on curtains, some had fun with cards.
As you can see in this last photo, someone created the cats by recovering chair parts
Artistically this would be my ideal country, because you know very well that I also paint, here I could unleash my creativity.
These cats were created during the 'silent cats' event because as you can understand, these cats being fake do not make a mess.
Over time, this route has attracted a lot of people, with people coming from all over Tuscany to see this open-air museum.
I tell you the truth, I also met a few real cats along the way, fortunately I would say!!!
Before this, a beautiful nativity scene was always organised, which was no longer done after the pandemic.
Guys, I too made a cat a long time ago, I donated it to this beautiful country, because I think it is the right place.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post, especially for those who love cats and all animals.
I took as many photos as I could, to share with you here
I greet you warmly, I loved it as a post, I could live here forever!

That path is amazing! Let me guess, are you a cat lover?
I have two cats from whom I cannot separate myself
my naughty head was thinking the place will be flooded with cats, but seeing the pictures, now i understand. this will look like a paradise for extreme cat lovers. great piictures though, felt like i was there.
Yes is the place for cat lovers
What a wonderful idea. All the little alleyways and doorways make for an awesome trail to follow the cats. Such a creative way to bring tourists into a small village.
thank you
