Hi Everybody! - Merhaba Millet!

Today, I will share with you my impressions from our trip to Bursa City Museum, which I did in the past days. These museums, where you can find everything related to the past of a city, contain many historically special relics.

Let's come to the Bursa City Museum, which is the main subject of my content. This museum is located just behind the Atatürk statue, known as the Famous Sculpture, in the Osmangazi district of Bursa. It has 3 floors and is a place where you can visit with a guide for free if you make an appointment before visiting. There is also a small amphitheater for small-scale concerts and shows in front of the museum.

Gelelim içeriğimin asıl konusu olan Bursa Kent müzesine. Bu müze Bursa'nın Osmangazi ilçesinde Meşhur Heykel olarak bilinen Atatürk heykelinin hemen arkasında yer almaktadır. 3 katlıdır ve ziyaret etmeden önce randevu almanız halinde ücretsiz bir şekilde rehber eşliğinde gezebileceğiniz bir yerdir. Müzenin önünde küçük çaplı konser ve gösteriler için küçük bir anfi de var.

Bursa was founded during the reign of King Prusias I of Bithynia. When the King of Carthage, Hannibal, lost the war with the Roman emperor, he took refuge in Prusias I with his soldiers. 1. Hannibal, who was highly respected by Prusias, founded the city of Bursa in his honor. That's why he named this city Prusa. Prusa turned into Bursa over time.

Bursa, Bitinya Kralı 1. Prusias döneminde kurulmuştur. Kartaca Kralı Hannibal, Roma imparatoru ile yaptığı savaşı kaybedince, askerleriyle birlikte 1. Prusias'a sığınmıştır. 1. Prusias tarafından büyük bir itibar gören Hannibal, onun onuruna Bursa kentini kurmuştur. Bu kente bu nedenle Prusa adını vermiştir. Prusa zamanla Bursa'ya dönüşmüştür.

In the museum, the entire history of Bursa, together with the first founding works, is exhibited. You can also find wax statues of the first sultans of the Ottoman period, narratives and photographs of the Republican period.

Müzede Bursa'nın ilk kuruluş eserleriyle birlikte günümüze kadar olan bütün tarihi sergilenmektedir. Osmanlı döneminin ilk padişahlarının balmumu heykelleri, Cumhuriyet dönemi anlatıları ve fotoğraflarını da bulabilirsiniz.

The ground floor of the museum is devoted to craft branches and these crafts are displayed in small rooms.

Finally, you can see the outfits of Zeki Müren, Müzeyyen Senar and Yıldırım Gürses, who are master artists of Turkish Classical Music, on stage.
