Hello my dear and loved ones. Summer has passed. It was hot, languid, romantic, sometimes sad. Summer has passed, but left behind many memories. I invite you all today to plunge into an amazing and atmospheric journey. We're going back in time. We are going to amazingly fabulous Croatia in the city of Pula. I will tell you about this city a little later. Now we are going to the Verudella Canyon in the city of Pula.
Pula is unique. I thought that after visiting Budapest in Hungary, nothing would surprise me anymore. But no. The city of Pula is unique and amazing. I want to return to this city and return. The city has a very rich history. And in the heart of this city we will find not only the place where gladiator fights were held, but also another natural miracle.
This place is a real cultural heritage and for a long time was little known. We are talking about the Verudela Canyon. In this magical place, time and nature are intertwined with amazing threads. It is here that we can contemplate the mysterious atmosphere and beauty.
Verudela is a gorge dug by time and water into the rocky depths of Pula. When you first step into this canyon, it’s like being transported to another world. Mighty rocks, covered with moss and lichens, like guardians of ancient times, frame the narrow gorge.
Underfoot, the stones scattered along the canyon floor look like a work of art on which time has left its notes. Verudela is an incredible combination of rock formations, crystal clear waters and lush vegetation.
One of the main attributes of the Verudela Canyon is its streams of mountain water, which impress with their transparency and freshness. Waterfalls and cascades of water create picturesque pictures, reminiscent of the life-giving power of nature. Here, among natural pools and bubbling streams, you can feel almost like in paradise, where every breath fills with lightness and freedom.
Walking towards the rocky beach, we turn onto a barely trodden path. We are turning, I don’t know where it will lead us. Sharp stones dig into our feet and we change into special slippers. A little more and we approach a large gorge. This is indescribable beauty. A few shots and we're getting closer. This is a miracle of miracles. The descent into the canyon is dangerous. But we decide to go down.
How powerful nature is. Just think that this was created over centuries by winds and water. How many civilizations have contemplated this beauty? Morning. The sun is not blinding yet. We enjoy the majestic heritage of nature. We go down to the water. These feelings cannot be expressed in words.
The day passes. Thoughts about the canyon haunt me. We decide to visit the canyon at sunset. The languid evening sun paints the sky golden. Ships and yachts sail past the canyon. How you want to capture these moments forever in your memory. A couple of photos. We descend the canyon again and enjoy the romance of the evening sunset.
This place is not only a natural wonder for me. This is the heart and soul of Pula. I sit on a rock and my thoughts fly into oblivion. I can imagine how small a link I am in this world. I'll go back there again. It will be summer again. There will be travel again. And we will definitely find new and new wonders of our nature.

What an incredible memory you share @sokoloffa! I have heard about beautiful Croatia but I have yet to go. I nearly did when I still lived in the UK but it was not to be. These are delightful pictures. The water looks like a painting!

Oh so many choices for so many reasons. Each country and culture is unique and has wonderful experiences to offer. I loved the Czech republic, but then the Walsh country is incredible and if I could do it again the coast of Italy or the wonderful foods of Holland
