Hello friends of Hive, happy Thursday. Today I will tell you about the ancient Inca city Machu Picchu – Peru.
In 2017 I lived in Lima – Peru and I had the opportunity to travel to Cusco to get to know this Inca city. The plane trip from Lima lasts about an hour and a half and leaves you in Cusco where you then take a bus and finally a train that leaves you in Machu Picchu, a total of approximately 6 hours.
The history of this empire is really impressive and even more so its construction, this was a city that was built thanks to the Inca Pachacútec in the fifteenth century, this empire was really big since it extended from Ecuador, through Chile, Bolivia, until reaching south of Argentina.
When you arrive and see the majesty of the site, it is impossible not to wonder how they did it. During the tour there is a tour guide who tells about the history of the site, Machu Picchu means Old Mountain, referring to the site where it is located, a large mountain in the Peruvian Andes.
Something that amazed me was knowing that the city is located between two seismic faults, a water spring and a granite quarry. Seeing the exactness of the cuts of the stones, which fit perfectly with each other, practically leaving no space, it seems that it was made by aliens.👽🤣😂
The city was built with a system of sewers to prevent everything from collapsing due to the water from the spring, it has many terraces and they fulfilled various functions, such as for example they used them for agriculture since being located on the top of the mountain, they did not they had plains nearby. Also to prevent it from collapsing, these terraces were built with 3 types of materials and these absorbed water and prevented soil corrosion.
This place has buildings, temples, agricultural areas, all connected by stone stairs. They grew potatoes, basil, corn and raised alpacas and llamas, some of which I was lucky enough to see on some terraces. Definitely if it is one of the 7 wonders of the world, the tranquility, peace and energy of the place is impressive.

Machu Picchu, actually about this archaeological site there is nothing to say because it is amazing, I have seen the place in many vlogs and I can not explain how this city was built, after all I consider it an ancient city, actually for me one of the seven wonders of the world is an enigma.
yes, it's really impressive how they managed to build all that.
