Dao Be (Small Island) has such a name because it is extremely small with more than 300 people living on a land area of ​​about 1 square kilometer. To be able to get here, I had to take two high-speed trains from Ly Son district (Quang Ngai) to Dao Lon to reach Dao Be.

The scenery at Dao Be is extremely poetic and wild. The sea water here is so clear you can see to the bottom. When you come here, you must definitely go coral watching to see the extremely interesting marine life with different species of fish and colorful coral.

Dao Be is known as the Maldives of Vietnam because of its beauty that no other sea has: the wild and pure beauty of nature. This is an island that few people know about, so tourism services here have not developed much. Here the weather is divided into two distinct seasons: dry season and rainy season. The dry season lasts from March to September every year and this is also the most ideal time to explore Dao Be.

The first time I stayed in a homestay on the beach, when I opened the door, I saw the green beach right in my sight. I lived at Be Ecolodge, the house is built quite simply with a dried leaves roof so that when the rainy season comes, people can easily dismantle it.

The staff at Be Ecolodge are very friendly to tourists. They suggested us many places to visit on Little Island while here. In particular, their cooking is also very delicious. The lunch and dinner I ate at the homestay were very typical of the coastal area such as seafood, fish cakes,...

When visiting Dao Be, you definitely cannot miss Bai Thung. A beautiful place like a sea painting appears in sight: the blue sea, black rocks that have existed for hundreds of years and many basket boats with outstanding colors of fishermen here. Basket boats are the main means of fishing for indigenous people and can also carry tourists diving to see coral.

When visiting Dao Be, I had to say "Wow" many times because it was much more beautiful than I imagined.
