Exploring Ha Long Bay - one of seven natural wonders of the world recognized by UNESCO

Hi Hivers, how are you today? It's been a long time since I had a meaningful trip because of busy work and pressure. I had spent 3 days to explore Ha Long Bay - one of the seven wonders of the world recognized by UNESCO. I was very impressed with the magnificent beauty and harmony of the mountains and the sea. Today I will tell you about my recent journey.

Ha Long Bay is located in the northeast of Vietnam, 150 km from Hanoi and takes about 3 hours to travel by car. Ha Long Bay belongs to Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, this is considered a very developed city by tourism and coal. This is my first time to Ha Long and was very surprised with this city by its cleanliness and the food here is very delicious.

I explored Ha Long Bay on the second day of the cruise. To buy tickets to visit this Bay, you can book online with the ticket office or buy directly at Tuan Chau ports or Sunworld ports. Itinerary to visit Ha Long Bay has 2 routes of 4 hours or 6 hours with different attractions. I chose the 6-hour sightseeing route through: Sung Sot cave, Titop beach, Luon cave and lunch on board. The ticket price for a 6-hour tour is 490 thousand VND (equivalent to about 20 USD). Indeed, this is a very reasonable price to visit the beautiful scenery known as the natural wonder of the world.

From Sunworld port, it took me 1 hour to sit on a boat to Ha Long Bay, the first destination was Hang Luon. Coming here, I have the choice to sit on a boat (locals will paddle and introduce the history here) or you can also kayak for 50,000 VND (2 $). The boat went very slowly and I was able to admire the whole beauty of Ha Long Bay. That beauty captured the eye in a magnificent and wonderful way. The green of the mountains and the sea makes me feel like I'm lost in a magical world and all the pressure seems to disappear.

The next place in the journey to discover Ha Long Bay is Sung Sot Cave. This is a very long cave about 3km, I climbed about 200 steps to reach the cave. Standing on high looking down the whole Ha Long Bay, the beautiful scenery of the mountains and rivers seems to be captured in the eye.
In the cave are large stone blocks that have existed for hundreds of years. Visiting Sung Sot Cave, I was even more impressed by the grandeur and mystery of nature

The final destination is Titop beach which is very clear and beautiful. This is a beach where you can snorkel and see the coral. After bathing, I returned to the boat to have lunch with very typical Ha Long dishes such as seafood. A few tips when traveling to Ha Long: the summer weather here is very sunny, don't forget to bring sunscreen, a hat or an umbrella. Also, look for information on destinations from locals to get the most out of your trip
