The city of Qui Nhon is located in the central coastal province of Binh Dinh. The city is well known for its beautiful beaches, which make it a popular destination for tourists. Bai Xep village and beach are among the most popular beaches in the area in recent years.
If you're looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, then a visit to the coastal fishing village, Bai Xep, in the central of Viet Nam is just what you need. This picturesque village is only about 17km from the center of Quy Nhon and is known for its beautiful beach. The village is home to a small community of fishermen who still rely on traditional methods of fishing, such as boat-building and net-weaving. They are passionate about their fishing tradition. The village is also known for its seaweed cultivation, which is used to make herbal remedies and natural cosmetics as their main source of income.
This is a pure and idyllic place. From the outside, the village looks like a small town with simple houses and the road winding through it like a maze, but when you get around, you will be surprised by the peaceful and calm atmosphere, and welcoming villagers. The house here is typically small and modest, with few possessions. But the locals are happy with their simple life, and they would not want to live any other way, and they take great pride in their community.
Lately, there has been a great increase of international tourists who are looking for a place to stay in the village and enjoy the beach. There are many homestays in the village that are also equipped with modern amenities and offer excellent service quality with a beautiful sea view. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars nearby if you want to enjoy a meal or drink.
Walking around the small village and you will find a centuries-old tradition of fishing that is still alive and well today. The image of a man pulling a boat out to sea and a woman weaving nets or drying seaweed is one that can be seen throughout. There is a general and traditional trend here where men are more likely to participate in outdoor activities like fishing, while women usually stay indoors and make seaweed.
The village is surrounded by mountains and the sea, so the views are spectacular. There are also several restaurants in the village, which offer a variety of local specialties such as seafood, chicken, and pork.
If you're looking for a breathtaking beach to relax on during your trip to the central region of Vietnam, Bai Xep is a great place to visit. It is easily accessible from Quy Nhon, and it's well worth a visit if you're looking for some relaxation time in beautiful surroundings. :)
Summertime is the perfect time to visit Bai Xep. The sun is shining and the weather is warm, making it the perfect time to enjoy the beach and all of the water activities that the place has to offer. You can participate in activities such as swimming, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or snorkeling. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby if you need a break from the sun.
The sky, the beach, everything looks perfect! It's an amazing compilation of pictures! Thanks a lot for sharing!!
I greatly appreciated your kind words and am glad you like them. @belug
Wish you a very happy weekend :)
This village is very similar to Brazil. The colors of the houses. The coconut tree. The fishermen. Everything reminds me of Paraty - Rio de Janeiro.
When you can look at the images of Paraty!!!
Thank you @boeltermc and It's interesting to hear that there are similar fishing villages in Brazil as well. Would love to travel there someday. :)

I love small, cozy villages. They are the best!
(We have a little boy fountain just like that one too!)
Do you know what my favorite beach activity is? Just walking along the edge of the water and looking for little things that the waves wash up 🌊
Me either. Those traditional and peaceful villages really appeal to me. The long winter here has kept me from swimming, so I go for walks every day to get my daily dose of vitamins from the sea. :)
Have a great weekend ahead @proto26 :)
Cứ thấy chị trang share hình biển là mê lắm chị ạ...thèm được đi biển mà lạnh quéo rồi.
Hi thanks e. C đi đúng dịp tết tây trời ko đc đẹp lắm hic hic

Wow. What a beautiful tropical place.
Love the little round boats. So cute.
Thank you dear @joalvarez am glad you like it. I'm always fascinated whenever I see those little baskets. They are the tool that helps the local fishermen making daily earning ❤
Hi @pinmapple. I'm wondering if you're okay. I tried to pin the post but your comment doesn't appear here 😭
very nice post
Thanks !
It's very interesting how those people use those blue basket to go fishing, I've never seen that before.
Small baskets of near-fishing are used for daily living since it is only a small household business of the locals. Thank you @triplug for stopping by, much appreciated it :)
