The original Bana ethnic community in Kbang town of Viet Nam!

in Pinmapple11 months ago

Well, though I have been come back the city after 2 long weeks in the highland, it brought me a lot of memories to remember. I have forgotten to talk to you about one thing that attracted me a lot when I was there in some previous posts. That is why today I have to write another article to introduce about the foundation ethnic minority of Kbang town.

The Bana village is behind my friend’s house, and the entrance of the village stays next to his house. At the first time I did not know it untill my friend’s mother asked me if I have the will to wander around the village and explore the unadorned beauty of community. And to be honest, this is one of the thing I want to mention – the original beauty which is not assimilated so far.
Walking in the concrete path leading to the village, I have caught some of the children going back home from school, they are playing and joking each other. Watching the pure naive beauty of them, I remember about my childhood time too, it was so fun that I just want to relive that moment. They looked at me peculiarly just like I am the person on the Earth.

I got some mature man in the village when I was wandering and taking some pictures in the direction of them. They stopped my steps then asking about why did I take the picture here, they did not like to be taken the photos. I am quite surprised cause they did not been in all my camera. I just only took the nature and the beauty of outside of ancient houses. After some explainations with my kindness body language, they agreed to let me go freely and take photos. The ethnic minority has an extraordinary characteristic, the solidarity. That is why the Kinh people do not dare to provoke wrongfully in Bana’s village. When one picks a quarrel with some body in the village, all the people in that community will gather quickly and demand justice for that man. I have been learned one thing since I lived here: do not make a fight to them.

Although almost the houses in the Bana village are made and built by wood, however, it cannot be demolished by the time. They have chosen the quality wood in the forest to build and take care of them carefully during the days after days. To own one of this house, the cost is about approximately $10000. This could be the nice one for who does not like strenght concrete material.

In a lot of areas people like their privacy. It is a good thing they understood how you are just taking photos of the surroundings. The community looks peaceful.

yup. They also asked me why I want to visit their village. Seem like they are a closed community.
