Radhe Radhe Everyone!
Hope y'all are doing great!
Today's blog is going to be about the final one kilometer track to tunganat which was full of adventurous.

*In my previous blog I have shown you the path, the view around and about the condition of one of my friend. Here is the link in case you missed it. *

https://hive.blog/hive-163772/@vaibhavrawat/the-most-difficult-pathway-the-most-amazing-view-and-incredibly-beautiful-ghadwal-himalayan-ranges

In today's blog I'm here to share the most difficult part of the journey and the amazing part too.

IMG-20250318-WA0027.jpg

This was the view in front of us and we were totally mesmerized by it. It felt like we are going to heaven as the view was incredibly beautiful and we have never in our life seen such incredible view.

IMG-20250318-WA0028.jpg

This picture is my favourite among all, different mountains ranges can be seen easily in the picture and the pathways was literally looking amazing.

IMG-20250318-WA0036.jpg

The weather condition are really unpredictable at the top and in the picture about you can see how drastically the weather changed. It was all all sunny when we started the trek but at Himalayas you never know what can happen.

IMG-20250318-WA0031.jpg

With this cold weather the the temperature dropped suddenly and now it was 2 degrees from degrees. The cold wind was blowing our minds and the pathways become icy and dangerous. In the picture above you can see my friend walking in the pathway and here we spotted very few people.

IMG-20250318-WA0029.jpg

As we took next turn we, the turn in the journey came as the snow welcome us. We were so happy and filled with joy cause it was a dream for me which came true. We took some pictures there and now only few more turns were left to reach the temple.

IMG-20250318-WA0035.jpg

Also, the view around us changed fast too, now it was covered with fog and the visibility has dropped. The moisture content in the wind imwas high too. We were without raincoat as our clothes started to get wet. And the health condition of my friend started to worsen up.

IMG-20250318-WA0039.jpg

But we were so close to the temple and we all decided to reach there, we prepared ourself and kept walking. As the visibility was low and no one was around, we keep hoping that after this turn we will reach the temple but in reality it was something else. There were more trun left to actually reach there.

IMG-20250318-WA0025.jpg

Then again we spotted the state bird of Uttarakhand and this time not only one but too many. If you guys visit this place and take time to observe nature then you will also spot these birds. The colour of the the birds is spectacular and they resembles peacock.

IMG-20250318-WA0037.jpg

The temperature of the place even dropped to −10°C during winters and all the roads leading to the donghanath.Get blocked. It's difficult to visit here during the winters. But it is only during winter you will get the spectacular view from the Tungnath and of the peaks around it. Those who can beat the cold and have good experience in walking and tracking in nature during winters should visit this place as it is amazing and offer the tranquil experience.

IMG-20250318-WA0038.jpg

In the picture above , you can see the weather condition as well as the fog around the pathway. This made it literally difficult for us to even walk here.

IMG-20250318-WA0040.jpg

Throughout the year Tungnath temple attracts lots of tourists as it is part of Panch Kedar pilgrimage. The traffic of religious tourists throughout the year at Tungnath is crazy.

IMG-20250318-WA0023.jpg

Finally we saw some small houses near the temple, we got really excited and we also require some water for our friend as our bottle was emplty already.

IMG-20250318-WA0030.jpg

This is the view of the temple from back side, we were really happy to see it as the journey was difficult and somehow we did it.

IMG-20250318-WA0033.jpg

Also have a look at the mountains around, they were already covered in the snow and were looking amazing.

IMG-20250318-WA0034.jpg

After reaching near the temple, we did get some water but the temple was closed so we went near the main gate to take blessings of lord Shiva.
Tungnath temple is dedicated to lord Shiva which is at an altitude of 3680 meters and it's the highest shiva temple in thw world. Also the view, it's amazing from the temple as well as from the trek. You get to see all the snow capped peaks such as Nanda Devi Peak Trishul Peak and others too.

IMG-20250318-WA0026.jpg

As we reached here we came to know that the temple is closed and cause of the weather conditions it's difficult to take care of the temple and to handle so much crowd. Well the experience was great and we all loved it. That's all about my journey to the Tungnath trek and to the world's highest Shiva temple. Loved every part of it and the view was unforgettable and indescribable. For the record all these pictures are taken by me with my camera.

Thank you do much for reading.
Radhe Radhe.

Keep up the great work 💪

What a wonderful place for experimenting the snowfall, what an amazing atmosphere ❤️💕

Indeed, it's great

It's an impressive place, but I can also imagine the difficulty of being at that height, and the cold is brutal.

You're right.
