Indeed, above the church, you can find the ruins of Bosselstein Castle, which was built in the 12th century. This historic fortress was once an important stronghold of the Lords of Stein. Today, only the round keep and parts of the surrounding walls remain, but despite its crumbling state, the castle offers an incredible view of the Nahe Valley and is well worth a visit for hikers and history enthusiasts.
