Hi everyone. Hope you all are well as always.
Have you ever been to a vegetable farm for a picnic? I haven't. Even though I've lived in a village for a long time, there aren't any vegetable farms in my area. Most of our area grows oil palms. So this was my first experience going to a vegetable farm, specifically a hydroponic vegetable farm.

Again, I was influenced by social media promoting this place. This is the first hydroponic farm in Jakarta. Yes, Jakarta doesn't have much land for growing vegetables, and the extremely hot weather makes it difficult for farmers to cultivate vegetables. So, this hydroponic farm was like a breath of fresh air. My two friends and I went there to see the first hydroponic farm in Jakarta. It's located in a corner of Jakarta.

This hydroponic farm is located in a densely populated and heavily trafficked area. We had a bit of trouble finding it, but the high ceilings made it easy to spot it. As you pass through the fence, you can see the vegetable seedlings, a wide variety of them.

There were countless pipes stretching out. This area was next to the main building and in front of the nursery. I could see plants like dill, rosemary, and others growing there. The fragrance was very distinctive. We were amazed because I hadn't known much about hydroponic vegetables other than lettuce.

Entering the main area of the farm, you can see countless pipes, some 18 meters high. I was so tired of looking up to see the vegetables. My favorite was the lettuce area because the lettuce was so fluffy, it looked so beautiful. We were led by a guide who explained every detail of this hydroponic farm. That's why I say visiting this farm is like a trip, because you'll have a guide who will teach you so much.

Visitors came and went. Each visitor had about 30-45 minutes to explore. Uniquely, you could harvest three pots of your own vegetable. Isn't this a fun experience? You'll be taught how to harvest. My friends and I were so excited because we didn't leave empty-handed after leaving this farm.

For me, visiting this hydroponic farm is like a field trip, where you can see how farmers find alternatives to conventional farming to continue growing vegetables. Hydroponic vegetable cultivation isn't new to me, but remember, this is Jakarta, so I can say it's a very good move. My goal in coming there was of course to see all those vegetables—the green ones are quite pleasing to the eye. It was important for me to have this enjoyable experience.

Hi, Halo, Annyeong, welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
