Hola amigos mochileros, excursionistas y turistas, como están? aquí estoy nuevamente después de un tiempo sin subir contenido en esta increíble comunidad. Hoy les quiero comentar de un complejo turístico muy increíble que vale la pena visitar, esta ubicado a 15-20 min aproximadamente de la ciudad de Chinchiná de Caldas, por la carretera hacia palestina.
El parque la ínsula es un complejo turístico que tiene una pista de motocross, donde puedes alquilar 15 min de una motocicleta 4 ruedas o enduro 2 ruedas por el precio de 30.000 pesos colombianos (Equivalente a 7.5$), también hay lagunas para pesca, donde tienen cachamas y mojarras, una cancha de paintball de hidrogel y también una tirolesa en la cual se ve todo el complejo, sin mencionar que cuenta con dos restaurantes, parqueadero y hay cultivos de mandarinas, café y otras cosas.
La recepción en este lugar es increíble, anteriormente había venido a hacer motocross, pero en esta oportunidad volvimos para pescar cachamas y después de eso vinimos a hacer motocross con mis primos.

Today I want to tell you about a very incredible tourist complex that is worth visiting, it is located approximately 15-20 min from the city of Chinchiná de Caldas, on the road to palestina.
The park is a tourist complex that has a motocross track, where you can rent 15 min of a motorcycle 4 wheels or enduro 2 wheels for the price of 30,000 Colombian pesos (Equivalent to $ 7.5), there are also lagoons for fishing, where they have cachamas and mojarras, a paintball court of hydrogel and also a zip line in which you can see the whole complex, not to mention that it has two restaurants, parking and there are crops of tangerines, coffee and other things.
The reception at this place is incredible, I had previously come to do motocross, but this time we came back to fish cachamas and after that we came to do motocross with my cousins.
Para llegar aquí partimos a la 1pm aproximadamente y nos tomo 35min aprox, yo iba feliz por que me toco manejar a mi, y la verdad hay muchas curvas para llegar aquí así que hay que manejar con precaución.
Al llegar ya sabíamos el protocolo sin embargo fuimos un lunes y no habían muchas personas la verdad, casi los primeros en llegar.
El alquiler de la caña de pescar profesional fue de 10.000 pesos (2.5$), la carnada costaba 5.000 pesos (1.25$), las cañas de bambú son gratuitas para usarlas, y el kilogramo de cachama sin escamas y arreglada es de 18.000kg. Alquilamos 2 cañas un par de bolsas de carnada y nos fuimos directamente a pescar para recordar viejos tiempos cuando íbamos a los ríos o embalses con mi papá.
To get here we left at approximately 1pm and it took us about 35 minutes, I was happy because I had to drive myself, and the truth is that there are many curves to get here so you have to drive carefully.
When we arrived we already knew the protocol, however we went on a Monday and there were not many people, almost the first ones to arrive.
The professional fishing rod rental was 10,000 pesos (2.5$), the bait was 5,000 pesos (1.25$), the bamboo rods are free to use, and the kilogram of cachama without scales and fixed is 18.000kg. We rented 2 rods a couple of bags of bait and went straight to fishing to remember old times when we used to go to the rivers or reservoirs with my dad.
Me toco un momento de suerte y no pasaron 20 min y ya había pescado mi primera cachama, me había alegrado pues fue relativamente rápido, luego 5 min después mi hermano engancho otra de 2kg aproximadamente, lo vimos cuando saltó, pero era tan grande que reventó el anzuelo. Desde allí se nos hizo imposible volver a enganchar otra cachama, pescábamos solo mojarras rojas, y la verdad como somos pescadores viejos, sabemos que ese pez tiene demasiadas espinas y no nos atrae mucho.
Allí estuvimos por 2h mas sin tener suerte, hasta el momento que nos tocó irnos.
I had a lucky moment and not 20 minutes later I had already caught my first cachama, I was happy because it was relatively fast, then 5 minutes later my brother hooked another one of about 2kg, we saw it when it jumped, but it was so big that it broke the hook. From there it was impossible for us to hook another cachama, we only fished for red mojarras, and the truth is that as we are old fishermen, we know that this fish has too many spines and does not attract us much.
We stayed there for 2 more hours with no luck, until it was time to leave.
Almorzamos allí, en teoría los almuerzos si son un poco costosos, ya que es el mismo plato y menú de otros lugares con el doble de precio.
25.000 pesos (5.25$), hay res, cerdo, pollo o incluso podemos preparar las peces que hayamos capturado.
También ofrecen entradas, empanadas, tequeños y otras cosas suaves, cervezas, gaseosas y jugos, la verdad el restaurante es muy completo.
We had lunch there, in theory the lunches are a bit expensive, as it is the same dish and menu of other places with double the price.

They also offer appetizers, empanadas, tequeños and other soft things, beers, sodas and juices, the truth is the restaurant is very complete.
La otra atracción que trae mucho turista es la pista de motocross, están las opciones de alquilar una moto del lugar o traer tu propia moto y alquilar la entrada a la pista para practicar. Cuando yo fui la primera vez, esto estaba realmente nuevo la pista es profesional pero para niños, sin embargo ahora la ampliaron un poco y la hicieron profesional para adultos, tiene huecos, curvas muy cerradas y baches para altos una pista muy buena la verdad y es manejable para novatos.
Como mencioné 7.5$ por 15min, pero son suficientes para dar muchas vueltas y lo haces a nivel competitivo la verdad es que terminas cansado.
Yo alquile una 2r primero pero luego cambie con mi primo la 4r ya que el no puedo manejarla, sin darnos cuenta después mi hermano y mi otro primo también alquilaron y se nos unieron.
The other attraction that brings a lot of tourist is the motocross track, there are the options of renting a bike from the place or bring your own bike and rent the entrance to the track to practice. When I went the first time, this was really new the track is professional but for kids, however now they expanded it a little bit and made it professional for adults, it has gaps, very tight curves and bumps for highs a very good track indeed and it is manageable for novices.
As I mentioned 7.5$ for 15min, but it's enough to do a lot of laps and you do it at a competitive level, the truth is that you end up tired.
I rented a 2r first but then I switched with my cousin the 4r since he can't drive it, without realizing it later my brother and my other cousin also rented and joined us.

We finished our sightseeing in the evening in the Chinchiná square and then went back home to rest.
