First I must begin by clarifying the reasons why I wrote this post, since it can be misinterpreted considering that there is an active conflict between the parties and lives are lost every day. My intentions are to contribute my grain of sand fighting disinformation or propaganda.
But I am clear about one thing, and that is that the manipulation of information will always be used for the benefit of the parties and there is no better way to fight it than with history and facts.
We live in an era where humans have not yet developed enough intellect to unify our species and avoid these delays that we call wars.
The reasons will always be debatable but what we cannot allow is to be lied to, and even more so when it comes to people's lives and freedom.

Primero debo iniciar aclarando las razones por las cuales elaboró este post, ya que se puede mal interpretar teniendo en cuenta que se encuentra activo un conflicto entre las partes y se pierden vidas cada día. Mis intenciones son aportar mi grano de arena combatiendo la desinformación o propaganda.
Pero tengo claro que una cosa, y es que la manipulación de la información siempre se usará para beneficio de las partes y no hay mejor forma de combatirla que con historia y hechos ocurridos.
Vivimos una época donde el humano aún no ha desarrollado lo suficiente su intelecto como para lograr unificar a nuestra especie y evitar estos retrasos que llamamos guerras.
Las razones siempre serán debatibles pero lo que no podemos permitir es que se nos mientan. y más aún cuando se trata de la vida y la libertad de las personas.
Normally when we discuss with someone this topic, their argument will always be: "What Ukraine did not respect the Minsk agreements, for 8 years Russia has been denouncing that there is a conflict and that Ukraine is to blame for the deaths, supposedly that is why Russia is invading".
Classic propaganda sold to the naive in the West. But this pro-Russian sentiment, in reality, is nothing more than a sown resentment towards NATO or specifically the US. Which leads them to make the mistake of supporting Putin in his crimes.
First of all, it should be made clear to them that one thing has nothing to do with the other. We cannot allow our conscience to be soiled by supporting a criminal just because of our political leanings. In order not to allow that to happen, we must know and spread the true story.
Normalmente cuando debatimos con alguien este tema, siempre su argumento será: “Qué Ucrania no respetó los acuerdos de Minsk, desde hace 8 años Rusia denuncia que hay un conflicto y que Ucrania es el culpable de las muertes, supuestamente por eso Rusia está invadiendo”.
La clásica propaganda que le venden a los ingenuos en occidente. Pero este sentimiento prorruso, en realidad no es más que un resentimiento sembrado hacia la OTAN o específicamente EEUU. Lo que los lleva a cometer el error de respaldar a Putin en sus delitos.
Primero hay que aclararles que una cosa, no tiene que ver con la otra. No podemos permitir que nuestra conciencia se ensucie respaldando a un criminal sólo por nuestras inclinaciones políticas. Para no permitir que eso suceda debemos conocer y divulgar la verdadera historia.

Pero gracias a las protestas, no de los políticos, sino de la población ucraniana, se repiten las elecciones y gana Yushchenko, pero gana, PORQUE PROMETIÓ sacar de la órbita del Kremlin a Ucrania y gestionar la entrada de Ucrania en la OTAN y la UE. Now, put yourself in the shoes of the Ukrainians. What would you have done wishing your independence and that there would always be someone there, ending your aspirations to be free and independent?
Si aún no lo ves te cuento más, en ese mismo 2014 soldados rusos toman el Parlamento de la región ucraniana de Crimea y levantan la bandera rusa. Moscú anexa ese territorio a su dominio. Pero TAMBIÉN los prorrusos de la región oriental se apoderan del Donbás y declaran su independencia.
Está demás aclarar que Putin es el organizador y patrocinador de todo conflicto que favorezca sus intereses, por este motivo utilizó la misma estrategia que unos cuantos años antes había utilizado en georgia, un país vecino. Formar y patrocinar grupos separatistas, enviando a muchos espías e inteligencia rusa para lograr sus actos terroristas en la región.

Mientras que los ucranianos hicieron lo más lógico, "no dejar que grupos armados acaben con nuestro país" comienza desde 2014 esta nueva etapa del conflicto que dejó 15 o 16 mil muertos de ambos bandos. Cifras que Putin esperaba que subieran pacientemente durante esos 8 años.
Al final su inversión "valió la pena", logró acabar con muchas vidas y ahora tendría la excusa perfecta para invadir un país que considera como suyo y ha intentado recuperar desde hace años.
Inició como siempre con muchas mentiras. Movilizando más de la mitad de su ejército a la frontera con Ucrania, asegurando al mundo entero que no invadiría, solo eran ejercicios militares. Que "EEUU y la OTAN solo eran alborotadores y estaban desinformando, a causa de sus propios intereses".
Se encargó de que su red mediática (RT y Sputnik canales 100% manipulados por el) desinformara y justificara por todos los medios cualquiera de sus órdenes. Cuando inició la invasión, tuvieron que buscar nuevas excusas para apoyar a su jefe, después de tanto asegurar que Putin jamás invadiría y EEUU era quien buscaba una guerra.
If you still don't see who the aggressor is, let me tell you that you are a bigot who is full of hatred and resentment towards one side of the scale, you can never be objective without leaving that aside. It is certainly not about looking for good or bad, it is about understanding that the human being has a fundamental right which is freedom. We must always oppose oppression or subjugation of our species. This is not about the US or NATO, it is about Ukraine in its quest for freedom.
The misfortune of living in a dictatorship makes me understand the feeling that Ukrainians must fight for every day, strength for them and their great country. FREEDOM IS NOT OPTIONAL.
Si aún no ves quien es el agresor, déjame decirte que eres un fanático que está lleno de odio y resentimiento hacia un lado de la balanza, nunca podrás ser objetivo sin dejar eso a un lado. El infortunio hecho de vivir en una dictadura me hace comprender el sentimiento por el cual deben de luchar cada día los ucranianos, fuerza para ellos y su gran país. LA LIBERTAD NO ES OPCIONAL.
