It's January 1, 2021, it seemed like a random day but when I started counting days, months, years, everything made huge differences. Last night I stayed at home, took a glass of wine, some snacks, pizzas, and watched The Simpsons. The funny thing is I know the Simpsons family but I never saw any single seasons so I have decided to see it. I know I am too old for cartoons but maybe my body is getting old, not my mind...
We had some fireworks in front of my home which I really enjoyed but Gigi didn't. She is not habituated with such kind of sound and became so restless. She started barking and I had to divert her mind into food, lol... She loves food and there is no doubt. My dad and sister also stayed at home in Bangladesh and celebrated the new year in a very simple way.
Outside is still really very cold and snow started melting as usual. Obviously, the reason for the severe cold is wind flow, but temperature normal but it feels like -13 degrees celsius.
I had some leftover champagne so took some today and it tastes good actually. Overall today is completely a new day of the new year and I welcomed this new year with a nice smile. I am going to focus on my personal life more as I have some new goals to achieve, nothing crazy it's about life settlement. Some crucial decisions I have to take for myself for settlement. My dad was talking about that too so I hope I will be able to achieve a few things.
I know many people started this year with many expectations and hope so do I. But yes, I am not expecting much as I am also thinking to deal with the situation as well. Sometimes you have to follow tides for an adjustment instead of going against the tide and that's what I am thinking now.
I spent some time outside today, went to the center of Kharkiv city, and enjoyed some time with my friend. We took coffee snacks and came back home early. Everything was quiet, with less crowded. I guess people are taking a rest after a hardcore new year party... Hahaha...
