RE: The work I do in Holland after leaving the Warzone...

in Team Ukraine2 years ago

that is something that I have read that happens to many people who emigrate or are displaced, remaining as refugees in other countries, usually pass that precisely, that the immediate job offers are the type of unskilled work or with a great load of physical effort and low pay.

Yes and I don't mind as long as the work environment is good. But here co-workers are selfish, biased, and moreover toxic. They can't easily accept new people and they don't wanna train new people because they say we don't get paid for your training, why should I teach you. If you don't have experience then that's your lacking, our job is only to work in the kitchen, we don't get paid for your lesson...

So, I guess I am almost done here...

That's a terrible environment. In contrast, some time ago I read something from an Asian work that described the "must be" of a school or work environment, it said: "Respect for Masters, solidarity with peers, care for novices"

Well, my translation is not very good, but the juniors or rookies had to be shown how to adapt and improve, for the good of the team and the unity of the group. I liked that mentality, I know that the ideal and the reality do not always fit very well, but from what I know, these ideas are usually promoted quite a lot in their culture and are assumed as what must be done so that a company, a school or a community works.

Returning to the matter, I wish you can get a better job soon and that all things improve.

That's what I was told when I joined the team but unfortunately I don't see anything like that :(

Let's hope for the best...
