Hagamos las tareas para el hogar divertidas || Let's make homework fun [Esp/Eng]

En estos días observando una de mis redes sociales ví un vídeo de una niña quejándose por tener que hacer mucha tarea para el hogar, era notorio el nivel de frustración de la pequeña y el adulto lo grabó como si fuera un chiste el hecho de ella estuviera manifestando lo que sentía en ese momento, personalmente considero que hay que tomar en cuenta las emociones de nuestros pequeños y no invalidarlas con patrones que quizás venimos repitiendo porque así nos enseñaron a nosotros, al contrario deberíamos enseñarle que aparte de una responsabilidad el aprendizaje puede ser agradable.

These days, watching one of my social networks I saw a video of a girl complaining about having to do a lot of homework, it was notorious the level of frustration of the little girl and the adult recorded it as if it were a joke the fact that she was expressing what she felt at that moment, personally I believe that we must take into account the emotions of our children and not invalidate them with patterns that perhaps we have been repeating because we were taught so, on the contrary we should teach them that apart from a responsibility learning can be enjoyable.

El método de educación en cada país es diferente, pero si hay algo que sin dudas es fundamental en cualquier lugar del mundo que uno se encuentre es el refuerzo de los contenidos en casa, porque el trabajo de educar no queda solo en la escuela, particularmente estoy de acuerdo con las tareas y me gusta estar al tanto bien sea del avance de mi hijo o por lo contrario si está teniendo alguna dificultad y poder reforzar eso y sepa que cuenta con mi apoyo para seguir adelante, siempre lo he dejado ir a su ritmo y le he celebrado sus logros porque solo el sabe lo que le puede llegar a costar algo y hay que reconocerles sus esfuerzos.

The method of education in each country is different, but if there is something that is undoubtedly fundamental wherever you are in the world is the reinforcement of the contents at home, because the work of educating is not only at school, I particularly agree with the tasks and I like to be aware either of the progress of my son or on the contrary if he is having some difficulty and to reinforce that and know that he has my support to move forward, I have always let him go at his own pace and I have celebrated his achievements because only he knows what it may cost him something and we must recognize their efforts.

Debido a mis horarios y ocupaciones lo había inscrito en una tarea dirigida en el turno de la tarde en donde honestamente debo reconocer que me ayudaron muchísimo con lo académico y hasta lo conductual porque el proceso de adaptarse de preescolar para primer grado no fue fácil para mi hijo. Este año ya notando que se acostumbro tome la decisión de ayudarlo en casa ya que no requería de tanto tiempo el hacer las tareas porque el ya tenía el hábito,para esto primero que nada seleccione un espacio en mi hogar en donde el pudiera estar cómodo, que se pudiera sentar bien, con buena iluminación, que sea fresco y con pocos elementos distractores porque se que su atención suele ser dispersa.

Due to my schedule and occupations I had enrolled him in a homework directed in the afternoon shift where I must honestly admit that they helped me a lot with academics and even behavioral issues because the process of adapting from preschool to first grade was not easy for my son. This year, noticing that he got used to it, I decided to help him at home since it did not require so much time to do his homework because he already had the habit. For this, first of all, I selected a space in my home where he could be comfortable, where he could sit well, with good lighting, fresh and with few distracting elements because I know that his attention is usually scattered.

Antes de empezar con cualquier tarea anticipo la hora que la realizaremos para que así el deje la actividad que esté haciendo, bien sea jugando o viendo televisión y ya sepa que al sonar la alarma debe cumplir con sus asignaciones, nos sentamos juntos y en vez de darle una lección muy estructurada hago un juego referente al contenido que realizaremos, por ejemplo si es matemáticas tomo algún material, bien sea pasta y nos ponemos a contar de manera progresiva y regresiva, luego sumamos y restamos, una vez que hicimos esto pasamos a responder en el cuaderno o el libro correspondiente, así mi hijo las hace con agrado y de hecho hasta en menor tiempo porque ha entendido rápidamente el contenido.

Before starting any task I anticipate the time that we will do it so that he leaves the activity he is doing, either playing or watching television and already knows that when the alarm sounds he must complete his assignments, we sit together and instead of giving him a very structured lesson I make a game related to the content that we will do, For example, if it is mathematics I take some material, either pasta, and we start counting in a progressive and regressive way, then we add and subtract, once we have done this we go on to answer in the notebook or the corresponding book, so my son does them with pleasure and in fact even in less time because he has quickly understood the content.

El juego ayuda con las capacidades cognitivas, sociales y emocionales de los niños, por medio de este aprenden de manera interactiva y motivadora estimulando así la participación de los mismos desarrollando sus habilidades lingüísticas, enseñándoles a respetar turnos y a compartir, la verdad es que tiene muchísimos beneficios y por sobre todo que lindo es tener niños felices. De parte de nosotros como adultos lo más importante es tener paciencia y la disposición de hacer el apoyo académico en casa de la mejor manera y que está sea fructífera para ambos, así el proceso de aprendizaje no tiene que ser aburrido, al contrario ¡divirtamonos mientras aprendemos!

The game helps with cognitive, social and emotional abilities of children, through this they learn in an interactive and motivating way thus stimulating the participation of the same developing their language skills, teaching them to respect turns and share, the truth is that it has many benefits and above all how nice it is to have happy children. On the part of us as adults the most important thing is to have patience and the willingness to do the academic support at home in the best way and that it is fruitful for both, so the learning process does not have to be boring, on the contrary, let's have fun while we learn!
