Madres creativas para el bienestar de sus hijos [Es-En]

Saludos para todos los que integran esta bonita comunidad de Motherhood. En esta ocasión comparto una publicación que espero pueda serles de mucho agrado.

Una de las ideas universales muy conocidas por todos nosotros es el hecho de que “la vida es un eterno aprendizaje” y vale destacar la realidad de estas palabras, ya que desde el primer día en que nacemos iniciamos una fase en la que estamos absorbiendo y copiando toda clase de conductas y enseñanzas.

Desde un punto de vista más amplio, es interesante lo que una madre es capaz de hacer a fin de brindarle a sus hijos una valiosa educación, destacando no solo lo que se quiere enseñar sino también la manera más efectiva en la cual los niños puedan captar la información, y es aquí donde algo como la creatividad juega un papel fundamental de parte de las madres hacia sus hijos.

Cuando hablamos de creatividad, nos referimos a cualquier método, proceso o táctica que utilizan los padres a fin de inculcar en sus hijos lo mejor para sus vidas, principios y fundamentos que no solamente los llevarán a ser mejores hijos sino también mejores personas dentro de cualquier sociedad a lo largo de toda su vida.

No hay una instrucción o regla general que determine la manera en la que cada padre o madre debe abordar situaciones específicas de sus hijos, y es allí donde la creatividad entra en juego. En un mundo tan cambiante y donde los niños cada vez experimentan más patrones de conductas, es cuando más vital llega a ser el aporte de quienes cuidan y velan por su bienestar.

One of the universal ideas well known to all of us is the fact that "life is an eternal learning" and it is worth highlighting the reality of these words, since from the first day we are born we start a phase in which we are absorbing and copying all kinds of behaviors and teachings.

From a broader point of view, it is interesting what a mother is capable of doing in order to provide her children with a valuable education, highlighting not only what she wants to teach but also the most effective way in which children can grasp the information, and it is here where something like creativity plays a fundamental role on the part of mothers towards their children.

When we talk about creativity, we are referring to any method, process or tactic that parents use in order to instill in their children what is best for their lives, principles and fundamentals that will not only make them better children but also better people in any society throughout their lives.

There is no general instruction or rule that determines how each parent should approach specific situations with their children, and that is where creativity comes into play. In such a changing world where children experience more and more behavioral patterns, it is when the contribution of those who care for and watch over their well-being becomes more vital.

Si existe un público difícil de llevar y manejar, esos son los niños. Las madres, de manera directa son las que más creatividad necesitan porque para nadie es un secreto que son ellas las que interactúan más con los hijos. ¿Hasta qué punto se necesita ser creativo? Esta es una pregunta que abarca un gran campo de opciones y de las cuales puedo mencionar las más comunes.

Una de ellas llega a estar relacionada con la alimentación. A medida que el niño va creciendo, empieza a conocer la gran variedad de alimentos de las cuales podemos disfrutar, pero el reto comienza cuando ellos empiezan a responder con cierta apatía hacia alimentos que son muy necesarios para su crecimiento. Es aquí donde de manera muy variada, muchas madres han encontrado la fórmula para hacer que sus hijos lleguen no solo a amar sino disfrutar de comidas que para muchos no resulta de mucho agrado, como lo son las verduras y las hortalizas.

Algo muy importante y que como adultos debemos tener cuidado, es con el mensaje que queremos transmitir hacia los niños, quienes prácticamente están dando sus primeros pasos en muchas facetas de la vida. Y esto lo traigo a colación pues recordé la experiencia de un sobrino mío con respecto a esto de la alimentación. Resulta que mi sobrino estaba comiendo arroz con caraotas, y de repente alguien cometió el grave error de decirle que “si comía caraotas, se pondría negro”. ¿Cuál fue el resultado? Ya mi sobrino, de apenas 4 años, no quiere comer ni caraotas ni nada relacionado con los granos.

Otras de las áreas en lo que los padres necesitan mucha creatividad es al momento de enseñar. Es increíble como muchos padres se las ingenian para inventar un cuento, una canción o un juego a fin de enseñarles a sus hijos principios básicos de estudios como lo son los números, las letras, las formas y colores. Encomiamos a todos los que hoy hacen ese bonito sacrificio con el propósito de inculcar en sus hijos el mejor aprendizaje posible.

If there is an audience that is difficult to manage and handle, it is children. Mothers, directly, are the ones who need the most creativity because it is no secret that they are the ones who interact the most with their children. To what extent is it necessary to be creative? This is a question that covers a wide range of options and I can mention the most common ones.

One of them comes to be related to feeding. As children grow, they begin to know the great variety of foods that we can enjoy, but the challenge begins when they start to respond with a certain apathy towards foods that are very necessary for their growth. It is here where in a very varied way, many mothers have found the formula to make their children come not only to love but enjoy foods that many do not like, such as vegetables.

Something very important that we as adults must be careful about is the message we want to convey to children, who are practically taking their first steps in many facets of life. And I bring this up because I remembered the experience of a nephew of mine regarding food. It turns out that my nephew was eating rice with beans, and suddenly someone made the serious mistake of telling him that "if he ate beans, he would turn black". What was the result? Now my nephew, who is only 4 years old, doesn't want to eat beans or anything related to beans.

Another area where parents need a lot of creativity is when it comes to teaching. It is amazing how many parents manage to invent a story, a song or a game to teach their children basic principles of studies such as numbers, letters, shapes and colors. We commend all those who today make this beautiful sacrifice in order to instill in their children the best possible learning.

La creatividad para enseñar valores y principios también es primordial hacia los niños, ya que lastimosamente vivimos en un mundo que carece de ello. Relacionar los gustos de los pequeños con algo de aprendizaje es una fórmula que realmente funciona.

Por ejemplo, destaco lo que una madre hizo para enseñarle la importancia de los buenos modales a su hija. Al principio no era nada fácil, pero algo que notó esta madre fue que a su hija le gustaba mucho jugar de peluquería. Así que la mamá al ver esto, se puso a jugar con su hija y siendo ella el cliente le decía frases como “Buenos días” “discúlpeme” “por favor” “usted es muy amable” y muchas expresiones que destacaban el respeto, la amabilidad y la cortesía. ¿Cuál fue el resultado? La niña empezó a copiar y repetir lo que decía su mamá mientras jugaban y también empezó a aplicarlo en todo momento que lo ameritaba. La niña captó dicha enseñanza mientras se divertía.

Siempre he destacado el principio de que “el ejemplo mueve más que las palabras”, así que cualquier cosa que los padres puedan inventar o ingeniar con la finalidad de plasmar algo de valor en sus hijos redundará en felicidad plena dentro del núcleo familiar.

Hay madres que derrochan creatividad para darles la comida a sus hijos, para vestirlos o para destacarles lo importante que es colaborar en las labores del hogar. Encomio todo lo que hacen en pro del bienestar y la salud mental que como padres desean afianzar en sus hijos, un trabajo nada fácil pero que a la larga nos permitirá recoger los mejores frutos que en esta vida se pueden obtener y lo que mayor satisfacción nos puede brindar.

Creativity to teach values and principles is also essential for children, because unfortunately we live in a world that lacks them. Relating the tastes of the little ones with some learning is a formula that really works.

For example, I highlight what one mother did to teach her daughter the importance of good manners. It wasn't easy at first, but one thing this mother noticed was that her daughter really liked to play hairdresser. So the mother, seeing this, started to play with her daughter and being the client she would say phrases like "Good morning" "excuse me" "please" "you are very kind" and many expressions that emphasized respect, kindness and politeness. What was the result? The child began to copy and repeat what her mother said as they played and also began to apply it when appropriate. The child picked up this teaching while having fun.

I have always insisted on the principle that "example speaks louder than words", so whatever parents can invent or devise to give something of value to their children will redound to the full happiness of the family nucleus.

There are mothers who are creative when it comes to feeding their children, dressing them or emphasizing how important it is to help them with household chores. I praise everything they do for the welfare and mental health that parents want to strengthen in their children, not an easy task but that in the long run will allow us to reap the best fruits that can be obtained in this life and what can bring us greater satisfaction.
