Picasso exhibit with little Luna 🎨 [ENG-ESP]

A few weeks ago I took my daughter to a Pablo Picasso art exhibit in ky city's "Museo de la Cultura" (Culture Museum). The exhibit had many pieces of art and it was a wonderful experience to be able to assist with my little girl.

As an artist it was very enriching, but one of the things I was more exited about, was that on this exhibit there was an interactive area that was ideal for the little ones, with very entertaining and educational activities.

Hace algunas semanas asistí con mi hija a una muestra de obras de Pablo Picasso en el Museo de La Cultura, en mi ciudad. La exposición estaba conformada por numerosas obras, y fue una muy grata experiencia poder asistir y más aún haberlo hecho con mi pequeña hija.

Para mí como artista fue sumamente enriquecedor, pero una de las cosas que me causaba más ilusión era que esta muestra cuenta con un área interactiva ideal para los más pequeños, con actividades sumamente entretenidas así como educativas.

That's how my daughter besides walking through the galleries by my side, got to take a sit to color prints of Picasso's paintings, very focused and serious because that's one of the things she enjoys the most.

Fue así como mi pequeña además de recorrer las galerías a mi lado, pudo tomar asiento para colorear impresiones de distintas obras de Picasso, muy concentrada y seria ya que es un de las actividades que más disfruta hacer.

Then we went to an area where she could pick different items and attach them to the faces on the wall with velcro, creating different compositions. Undoubtedly it was the activity she enjoyed the most, and she kept laughing and making new "crazy faces" over and over again.

Luego nos dirigimos hacia un área donde podía seleccionar distintos elementos y pegarlos con Velcro para así crear diferentes rostros. Sin duda fue la actividad que más disfrutó realizar, y entre risas armaba y desarmaba una y otra vez las "caras locas".

There was also a whole wall painted with chalkboard paint in which we could draw and write with color chalks, there she used her wonderful imagination and even drew a picture of us holding hands. She recently started drawing people so i cannot help but get moved every time she does so, specially when she points out its us.

También había una pared entera pintada con pintura para pizarra en la que se podía dibujar y escribir con tizas de colores, allí dió rienda suelta a su imaginación y termino por hacer un dibujo de nosotras. Hace muy poco que ha empezado a dibujar personitas así que no puedo evitar sentirme sumamente conmovida cada vez que lo hace, en especial cuando especifica que somos nosotras dos.

It was truly a wonderful surprise to find an area designated to the enjoyment of kids and adults alike, its definitely a great initiative to make the public participate, inviting to create and to experiment.

Watching my daughter smile while she enjoyed every single moment was very special, to be able to incorporate art in her life is something I always try to do, so this kind of experiences are very enriching and fill me with so much joy.

La verdad fue una muy grata sorpresa el encontrar un área en la que pudieran disfrutar grandes y pequeños, sin duda es una excelente iniciativa para hacer al público participe, creando así el deseo de crear y experimentar.

Ver a mi hija tan sonriente mientras disfrutaba de cada instante fue realmente especial, el poder incorporar el arte en su vida es algo que siempre intento a toda costa, así que este tipo de experiencias son verdaderamente enriquecedoras y me colman de mucha felicidad.
