[ESP-ENG] Sebas en su primera visita al Dentista

Saludos a todos madres y padres de esta hermosa comunidad, soy Edioretza, la mama de Sebas, y hoy compartiré con ustedes un poco mas de nuestra experiencia en este mundo de la maternidad..

Mi primera visita al dentista.

Mi hijo Sebastián le dice "el dentista" por el programa de peppa pig, y está esperando que se caigan para que el hada de los dientes de baby shark le traiga una manzana, pues les cuento que Sebas tiene 6 años y aun no ha mudado sus dientes, así que como deben imaginar para mí era preocupante ver a otros niños de su edad mudando dientes y mi hijo aun no, me salta el pensamiento que todos los niños no son iguales y que cada uno lleva un procesos de desarrollo distinto.

Hace unos días para ser exactos el martes 28 me dice - que lo cepille yo, y que tenga cuidado con un “diente bebe” que está naciendo-, yo enseguida me alarme porque el aun no había comenzado a mudar sus dientes de leche. Y cuando le reviso pues si está saliendo uno detrás de los dientes de la parte inferior.

Me preocupe un poco, pero lo mejor que pude hacer fue organizar una cita con una odontopediatra de mi localidad, La Dra. Cirana, y nos dio cita para el día siguiente.

Como siempre suelo hacer, preparo a mi hijo para el evento, porque aunque él tenga presente gracias a las comiquitas que ir al dentista es algo normal, el es muy nervioso.

Llegamos a nuestra cita a las 2pm, un poco agotados porque caminamos hacia el consultorio, que es muy lindo nos encanto, llene el formulario para la historia del paciente y entramos con la Odontopediatra.

Le explique nuestra razón de la visita, lleno la información medica de Sebastian, y comenzó su evaluación del área bucal para verificar lo que yo decía y detectar alguna otra situación.. Mi hijo al inicio estuvo nervioso con la silla la luz pero el hizo las preguntas de rigor y aun con temor obedeció a la dra, lo genial es que hay un televisor en el techo para que los niños puedan verlo mientras la dra los examina.

Al terminar la evaluación, llega el momento de conversar nuevamente conmigo, donde me explica que el menor de mis problemas es ese diente que está naciendo, sino la anodoncia, o ausencia de un diente, en el caso de Sebas le falta el diente de la parte de debajo de la dentadura, debería haber 4 y tiene 3.

Tras esa observación me indico que debería hacer una rayos x al niño para verificar si hay huesito o no, entre otras recomendaciones con el cepillado que debe ser asistido hasta los 9 años, dieta baja en azucares, limpieza y visita periódica..
De resto estábamos usando cepillo y pasta dental correcta y cero caries, cosa que me alegra mucho.

Mi hijo se porto como todo un príncipe, así que nuestra visita al odontólogo fue exitosa de muchas maneras.. Siempre me lleno de expectativas a nuevas experiencias con mi Sebas porque nunca se cómo va a reaccionar, pero al final me llena de alegría y satisfacción ver como mi hijo ha crecido.

Es importantísimo llevar a nuestros pequeños al odontólogo, claro también depende de nuestra disponibilidad, lo lleve por una razón y termine conociendo otras, que no es que sea grave, pero me tranquiliza saber y buscar la posible solución para que no sea un problema a futuro.

La Salud es importante mama y papa así que siempre que se pueda, es recomendable asistir al odontólogo para verificar el estado de la dentadura de nuestros pequeños, y mejorar sus vidas cada día..

Y bueno este salida no podía terminar sin un buen helado, que tenía tiempo sin comer, lo disfruto mucho .. A caso no se nota..

My son Sebastian calls him "the dentist" because of the peppa pig show, and he is waiting for them to fall out so that the baby shark tooth fairy brings him an apple, well I tell you that Sebas is 6 years old and has not yet molted his teeth, so as you can imagine for me it was worrying to see other children his age molting teeth and my son not yet, it makes me think that all children are not the same and that each one has a different development process....

A few days ago to be exact on Tuesday the 28th he told me - that I should brush him, and to be careful with a "baby tooth" that is being born-, I was immediately alarmed because he had not yet begun to molt his baby teeth. And when I checked him, one was coming in behind his bottom teeth.

I got a little worried, but the best I could do was to make an appointment with a local pediatric dentist, Dr. Cirana, and she gave us an appointment for the next day.

As I always do, I prepare my son for the event, because even though he knows from the comics that going to the dentist is normal, he is very nervous.

We arrived at our appointment at 2pm, a little exhausted because we walked to the office, which is very nice, we loved it, filled out the form for the patient's history and went in with the pediatric dentist.

I explained our reason for the visit, she filled out Sebastian's medical information, and began her evaluation of the oral area to verify what I was saying and to detect any other situations. My son was nervous at first with the chair and the light but he asked the questions and even with fear he obeyed the doctor, the great thing is that there is a TV in the ceiling so the kids can watch it while the doctor examines them.

At the end of the evaluation, it was time to talk to me again, where he explained that the least of my problems is that tooth that is being born, but the anodontia, or absence of a tooth, in the case of Sebas is missing the tooth from the bottom of the teeth, there should be 4 and he has 3.

After that observation he told me that I should make an x-ray to the child to verify if there is bone or not, among other recommendations with brushing that should be attended until the age of 9 years, low sugar diet, cleaning and periodic visits. Otherwise we were using the correct toothbrush and toothpaste and zero cavities, which I am very happy about.

My son behaved like a prince, so our visit to the dentist was successful in many ways... I always look forward to new experiences with my Sebas because I never know how he will react, but in the end it fills me with joy and satisfaction to see how my son has grown.

It is very important to take our little ones to the dentist, of course it also depends on our availability, I took him for one reason and ended up knowing others, not that it is serious, but it reassures me to know and look for the possible solution so that it is not a problem in the future.

Health is important mom and dad so whenever you can, it is advisable to go to the dentist to check the state of the teeth of our little ones, and improve their lives every day ...

And well this outing could not end without a good ice cream, I had time without eating, I enjoy it very much ... If you can't tell...
