Greetings hivers of #motherhood, it is a pleasure to come to this space once again to share where we address issues about motherhood and when we are mothers as in my case there are plenty of topics of conversation between mothers.
Definitivamente, la maternidad es una experiencia que cambia la vida de una mujer, y no solo por los aspectos biológicos, también porque la maternidad aporta nuevas responsabilidades, unos nuevos sentimientos y un nuevo tipo de amor, por eso los padres formamos parte fundamental en la vida de los hijos, especialmente para procurarles una vida llena de felicidad.
Definitely, motherhood is a life-changing experience for a woman, not only because of the biological aspects, but also because motherhood brings new responsibilities, new feelings and a new kind of love, so parents are a fundamental part of their children's lives, especially to provide them with a life full of happiness.
La felicidad de nuestros hijos la podemos generar de muchas maneras, una de ellas es a través de los cumpleaños porque son una celebración muy importante en la vida de un niño, los hacen sentirse amados e importantes. Asimismo, los cumpleaños son una oportunidad para comenzar un nuevo año en la vida de un niño, es una ocasión muy especial para ellos, porque por medio de dichas celebraciones ellos ven cumplido un sueno que nosotros como padres organizamos una fiesta con música, regalos, juegos y amigos, estamos creando un momento que se grabará en la memoria del niño como algo maravilloso y a su vez es importante que los niños tengan momentos memorables en sus vidas, porque esos recuerdos serán para siempre.
The happiness of our children can be generated in many ways, one of them is through birthdays because they are a very important celebration in the life of a child, they make them feel loved and important. Also, birthdays are an opportunity to start a new year in the life of a child, it is a very special occasion for them, because through such celebrations they see fulfilled a dream that we as parents organize a party with music, gifts, games and friends, we are creating a moment that will be recorded in the memory of the child as something wonderful and in turn it is important that children have memorable moments in their lives, because those memories will be forever.
Una de las fiestas más lindas es la celebración de quince años de las jovencitas, son una celebración muy tradicional en muchos países de Latinoamérica, y es un gran momento en la vida de las jóvenes. Creo que estas celebraciones son importantes, ya que representan el paso de la niñez a la adolescencia, es un gran hito en la vida de una joven y una fiesta de quince años es una manera de celebrar este momento tan esperado y sonado por las princesas de la casa.
One of the most beautiful parties is the Quinceañera celebration for young girls, they are a very traditional celebration in many Latin American countries, and it is a great moment in the lives of young girls. I believe that these celebrations are important, as they represent the passage from childhood to adolescence, it is a great milestone in the life of a young girl and a quinceañera is a way to celebrate this long awaited moment for the princesses of the house.
Como saben en casa tengo dos caballeritos, pero también tengo sobrinas, como es el caso de Paola Valentina, quien recién cumplió sus 15 primaveras, las cuales había esperado con ansias, sonando ser la princesa, un cuento de hadas por una noche y así fue. Las fiestas de quince años suelen incluir vestidos preciosos, grandes pasteles, familiares y amigos reunidos, bailes y mucho más. Todo ese espectáculo y esos momentos especiales son una forma muy bonita de celebrar la transición de la niñez a la adolescencia, aun con todos los desafíos que pueda haber.
As you know at home I have two little gentlemen, but I also have nieces, as is the case of Paola Valentina, who just turned 15, which she had been looking forward to, sounding like she was the princess, a fairy tale for a night and so it was. Quinceañera parties usually include beautiful dresses, big cakes, family and friends gathering, dances and much more. All that spectacle and special moments are a beautiful way to celebrate the transition from childhood to adolescence, even with all the challenges that may come with it.
Esta celebración fue todo un desafío dado que a última hora se presentaron situaciones que no estaban planeadas, como por ejemplo la falta de electricidad que era fundamental para la decoración del salón, peinado, maquillaje; entre otras cosas. Lo cierto fue que ese pequeño detalle nos puso a correr a todos y al mismo tiempo improvisar, la noche se hizo muy larga sin electricidad y sin gasolina, tuvimos que cambiar los planes rápidamente para poder tener esa noche mágica a como de lugar y mientras hacíamos de todo, también rogábamos a Dios para que regresara la electricidad.
This celebration was a challenge because at the last minute situations arose that were not planned, such as the lack of electricity, which was essential for the decoration of the salon, hairstyle, makeup, among other things. The truth was that this small detail made us all run and improvise at the same time, the night was very long without electricity and gasoline, we had to change the plans quickly to be able to have that magical night as best we could and while we were doing everything, we also prayed to God for the electricity to come back.
Al final llego el servicio eléctrico y culminamos el resto para iniciar el festejo con lo que logramos realizar, la hermosa princesa estaba ya lista para su gran entrada triunfal al salón de baile donde no solo la esperaba el nervioso padre por ver a su princesa, también el resto de la familia y amigos. Todos al ver llegar a la hermosa Paola lloramos de emoción, estaba hermosa mi sobrina, toda una princesa, radiante y sobre todo feliz.
The beautiful princess was ready for her grand triumphal entrance to the ballroom where not only the nervous father was waiting to see his princess, but also the rest of the family and friends. We all cried with emotion when we saw the beautiful Paola arrive, my niece was beautiful, a real princess, radiant and above all happy.
Uno de los momentos más hermosos de la noche, fue el baile, todos deseaban bailar con la bella jovencita, mi mayor emoción fue al ver a mi hijo Héctor bailar con su prima, todo un espectáculo mágico donde los presentes aplaudieron como con cada uno de los caballeros que estuvieron presentes en el vals; lamentablemente mi hijo Cristián no pudo bailar, ya que se sentía mal de salud, por lo que solo estuvo de espectador.
One of the most beautiful moments of the night was the dance, everyone wanted to dance with the beautiful young lady, my greatest emotion was to see my son Hector dance with his cousin, a magical show where those present applauded as with each of the gentlemen who were present at the waltz; unfortunately my son Cristian could not dance, as he was in poor health, so he was only a spectator.
Siempre valdrá la pena un desafío más para hacer un sueno realidad, donde nuestros hijos o sobrinos sean los protagonistas; ese es nuestra labor, crear momentos llenos de magia y fantasía que queden grabados en sus mentes por siempre donde todos estemos llenos de alegría y satisfacción en una noche tan linda como la de mi querida Paola Valentina.
It will always be worth one more challenge to make a dream come true, where our children or nieces and nephews are the protagonists; that is our job, to create moments full of magic and fantasy that will remain engraved in their minds forever where we are all full of joy and satisfaction in a night as beautiful as the one of my dear Paola Valentina.
