Excessive use of gadget has negative effects to our children. At home, my kids are inattentive once I will be giving them an errand. They are so focused with their cellular phones to the point that they will not mind me anymore. Thus, I decided to limit the use of gadgets, let them play the traditional games here in our country (Philippines) so they can associate with another kids.
Teaching moral lessons to them is essential too because nowadays, the influence of social media to the children is alarming.
Glad you have spent enough time with them. It is really important.
It is a good decision to control the use of cell phones by your children so that you can have their attention, it is very important that they can interact with other children through recreation.
I try to give my girls as much time as possible and be part of their growth and development.
