Everything is more beautiful on a lovely mild Autumn October day.
Birch Polypores are a common bracket fungus and I sometimes pass on by them when I'm out walking in the woods
But on a slow and easy walk out in the woods a couple of weeks ago I stopped and admired each and every one of them I saw.
On this day they all appeared so beautiful with the blue sky and coulourful Autumn leaves.
🍂
The warm sunlight shining through the trees attracted my attention to these two beauties.
It's not possible but I wish it was for me to take a picture, capture and share the most wonderful and amazing organic smell of the woods.
A wonderful time exploring the woods and hanging out with my fungi friends.

Many CHEERS 🌞🍻🍻🍻 !
Haha on the first it looks like if someone took macaroons and clued them to the tree :))
Someone was taking the juice from those birches ;)
🤗😋
Thank you !!
@ewkaw
A Macaroon tree out in the woods..🙂🙃...!!!
That would be mighty fine and wonderfully sweet.. :):)
😚
Oh yes it would :D
😋
They really do look like macaroons ..!!
I hadn't made the association until you mentioned it.
Now everytime I see them that will enter my mind..
Thank you for wonderful and sweet vision..!!!
🍁🙂🙃😋🍁
I know right? 😂😂😂
You will see them everywhere now! :P
It's really cool how many different funguses there are out there... Or is it fungi. Anyway that's really awesome capture and there was a couple that I missed getting today because I wasn't carrying my phone.
🙂
Thank You..!!
@ganjafarmer
Fungi/ Fungus they are both fitting 🤗.
I try not to forget my
phone =camera but I have many times over..!!
I did a couple of days ago and panicked thinking I lost it in the woods. It was on my cabin porch 🤷🏻♀️🤦♀️.
That's a good one.
Yep I forget my head if it wasn't attached to my shoulders.
Sometimes I have to drive back because I forgot that I left something.
sometimes I just say forget about it and I'll just pick it up the next time I'm there.
Very nice pictures. I see them here a lot too, but not like on your first picture where some are only attached to the tree with a small part.
I always wonder how these mushrooms are able to get so high up in trees. Does the wind take the spores all the way up?
how are you dear friend @annephilbrick good night
