We did not go to the forest for mushrooms. We just moved away from home in a small forest zone. We wanted to take a walk and I wanted to test a new lens.

That lens catches the fuzz of the polypore well. The top photo kind of looks like an old Reishi mushroom.
I am well versed only in edible mushrooms. The rest just love to take pictures :)
I think that I have not yet discovered all the possibilities of this lens. But it is definitely good for macro.

I love mushrooms and I use to go in the forest to search the ones I can eat, but also the ones that are no edible are a worderful piece of art by nature ^_^
