I'm not sure about that... Amanita citrina is known to contain the toxin alpha-amanitin. They said if eaten in normal amounts, it's considered that the concentration is very low and unlikely to have any significant effect on a healthy adult. Better to prevent. Also because it can be confused with deadly species.

this is 146% the case! with amanitas, I never can be 100% sure, and thats why better step back and dont accept risky decisions.
On the other hand, an Amanita caesarea topping in a pizza would taste incredible! :)
it is a Mediterranea and South Europe origin, I will never see this one in my forests. but you may have a luck! actually, once it was even shared in FL -- by a nice newcomer @monycatt. she does have knowledge.
