Swallow's nest mushroom

in Fungi Lovers2 years ago

hello friends!! Feeling very lucky to still be given the opportunity to contribute to this community.

It's been almost a full month that my area has been raining, the soil has started to get wet, what's more, the pile of twigs has become my target to look for various types of mushrooms. After circling in one of the oil palm plantations that I often visit, I found a pile of wood chips that are still very moist which is a place for swallow nest mushrooms to grow, this 2 meter pile of wood chips scattered about is filled with mushrooms, I was very amazed and very surprised to find so many swallow nest mushrooms.

Swallow's nest mushroom or Javan turtledove's nest, the shape of a brown funnel and covered by a white membrane to protect the small balls inside, can grow up to 15mm, this type of mushroom is not poisonous but also not edible, we can see the uniqueness of the mushroom This is from a very close distance, as the name implies, swallow's nest mushroom. Inside this mushroom looks like an egg that is protected by a thin membrane and is involved like a swallow's egg.

I would like to thank all the community friends who have given us a place to share our hunting photos here, this is the best place for us who love different types of mushrooms.
