My kind of February: Bounded by aspirant LEADERS

Good day dear hivers! It's been a while since the last time I share my blog. But anyways , How's you doing? I hope you all good.

^{Today I wanted to share to you guys this special situation I had on the month of February.}

I am on my 3rd year in college and first time engaging myself in school organization as a student officer. Last month of February our organization was invited to join the first activity proposed by the school administrator for the student to have a STUDENT LEADERSHIP TRAINING after of (2) years of pandemic. It was an honor to be in a pride of the school and a pleasure to be surrounded by aspirant LEADERS which came from different organizations and able to witness and hear a motivational testimony of successful professionals as a product of my beloved BACOLOD CITY COLLEGE and fellow BCCians.

As it is my first engagement, I wasn't expecting that that it would be so much fun. I was able to explore and observe how my fellow student as aspirant LEADER from other departments standing out the crowd and showcase what they've got, it was amazing.

Day 1 with beloved Guest Speakers

In this day 1 of our LEADERSHIP TRAINING let me share to you guys what I've deeply focus all throughout the session. If we're in a place that we lead, as a leader we aim success and become productive as we fit as one of a kind that a leader should have.

• What is success?
  How should we define success? What are the things that you do where in for you can be considered as one.

I see SUCCESS as a subjective, as we have our different way of interpretation about it. May for me success is happiness however to you is more than about it. Success is on everything, it's just on us to accept and satisfy for as to consider as it is. Basically we have this manner that we want to make decisions to take actions but we are afraid of not having approvals. Especially me , I'm afraid to take measures if I'm persuing it alone. Perhaps of those belief inside me this session makes me understand that being ALONE is part of the journey of working on your vision.

As the one who has given the place to lead and as we used of Democratic way, we tend to consider opinions, suggestions and even putting first others. To please and hoping that everyone will follow your lead and be satisfied of your efforts. There are times that we forget ourselves and there it was, our guest speaker mentioned that Self-care isn't selfish. It is not bad to say "No" in times that the situation is out of our capacity. It's not bad to say "No" when we can't. As a leader we should balance on saying *"Yes" and No and consider ourselves, our feelings in every decision we have.

• There's a lot more because we have 3 guest speaker on that day. Some topics talks about how to deal difficulties and the possible situation we may faced during the journey as a leader. How as a person drives her mind and emotion on his/her action and many more. But after of the long day one question was left in me and makes me ask on myself.

As we want all to do our very best but considering the particular reason for the circumstances that not all can pleased and not everyone will be satisfied,

WHAT COULD IT BE THE KIND OF LEADER I WANT TO BECOME NOW?

Together with my fellow students, they answer that they want to become brave, responsible and hardworking. But for me, I want to become a leader who **understand his fellow, transparent to both situation even if it is failure or successful, flexible to deal the challenges and a leader that has a common goal to his people. A leader who have courage to fight and confidence to speak out our mission.

• Each of us has our kind of leader, but I believe the most that to follow is to lead if you are a good follower then you are a good leader.

To this session, as it helps student to understand the role of a leader and for me to brighten the insight and understand better why I'm on that place together with other BCCians.
