El silencio is a Spanish series directed by Gabe Ibáñez available on Netflix, with which you can really become addicted, because it permanently keeps us in a central and determining doubt, and it's precisely if the main character is guilty or not of the crime (I'll tell you which one). El silencio es una serie española dirigida por Gabe Ibáñez disponible en Netflix, con la que puedes realmente engancharte, porque permanentemente nos mantiene en una duda central y determinante, y es justamente si el protagonista es culpable o no del delito (ahí les comento cuál). ¿Lo hizo intencionalmente? ¿Pasó otra cosa? ¿Alguien sabe la verdad?
La serie tiene 6 episodios, por lo que se hace fácil y rápida de ver. Si quieres obtener la respuesta, sólo tienes que sentarte allí a esperar a que llegue.
Plot
Well, this story takes on the gruesome case of the murder of two elderly people, two parents. In fact, that's how the series begins. We see two people falling from a balcony and a teenager approaching his little sister and taking her in his arms.
The boy is arrested and then released on parole, but there is a peculiarity about him, and that is that from the moment he is caught, even as a teenager, he has said absolutely nothing about what happened, not a word.
With time and different interactions, they manage to confirm that the protagonist and apparent murderer, Sergio Ciscar (Arón Piper), can talk, and they even had doubts about whether he was having some other problem or not. It happens that the boy talked whenever he wanted and with whomever he wanted.
In his years of solitude, before being released, he establishes a close relationship with a girl who was his fan, because yes, the boy had followers, and that bond goes beyond friendship, becoming a kind of love relationship.
Trama
Pues bien, esta historia toma el caso espantoso del asesinato de dos personas mayores, dos padres de familia. De hecho, así empieza la serie. Vemos a dos personas caer de un balcón y a un adolescente acercándose a su pequeña hermana y tomándola en sus brazos.
El chico es arrestado y luego dejado en libertad condicional, pero hay una particularidad en él, y es que desde el momento en el que lo captura, aún siendo un adolescente, no ha dicho absolutamente nada sobre lo ocurrido, ni una palabra.
Con el tiempo y las diferentes interacciones, logran confirmar que el protagonista y aparente asesino, Sergio Ciscar (Arón Piper), puede hablar, y es que ya hasta tenían la duda de si estaba teniendo algún otro problema o no. Pasa que el chico hablaba cuando quería y con quien quería.
En sus años de soledad, antes de ser dejado en libertad, entabla una estrecha relación con una chica que era su fan, porque sí, el muchacho tenía seguidores, y aquel vínculo supera incluso la amistad, convirtiéndose en una especie de relación amorosa.

When the boy is free, he is reunited with Marta, and at the same time begins to look for his sister, with whom he does not manage to find until the end of the series, where the truth comes to light.
But, before all this scenario there is something that I have not mentioned and that is fundamental, and is that Ana (Almudena Amor), with the excuse of conducting an investigation into the psychological structure of Sergio and hoping that he had not been the murderer, placed cameras to follow him and study him.
However, Ana hides much more for Sergio than the desire to study him.
The ending is intended to be open-ended, but it suggests quite clearly what may have happened.
Esta chica, Marta, está de novia desde hace mucho tiempo con Eneko (Manu Ríos, otro actor de la serie Elite), pero claramente lo engaña con Sergio.
Cuando el chico queda libre, se reencuentra con Marta, y al mismo tiempo empieza a buscar a su hermana, con quien no logra dar hasta el final de la serie, en donde la verdad sale a la luz.
Pero, ante todo este escenario hay algo que no he mencionado y que es fundamental, y es que Ana (Almudena Amor), con la excusa de realizar una investigación sobre la estructura psicológica de Sergio y con la esperanza de que él no hubiese sido el asesino, coloca cámaras para seguirlo y estudiarlo.
Sin embargo, Ana, esconde mucho más por Sergio que el deseo de estudiarlo.
El final intenta quedar abierto, pero se sugiere de manera bastante clara lo que puede haber ocurrido.

Opinion
The series is quite interesting in the sense that it does manage to keep the viewer hooked, looking for answers and especially waiting for the truth to come out.
What it seeks to understand here, is the nature of the psychological structure of the protagonist, so I am sure that a person who studied psychology or who understands a lot about the subject, can get the juice in an incredible way to this series, as each character has a very particular and very evident dynamics.
The role of each one of them gives rise to too many questions, like the ones I mentioned in relation to Sergio's guilt or others like if Ana is in love with him, if Ana is the sister, if it was not the sister who was the murderer and others, which also offers a certain addictive dose.

La serie es bastante interesante en el sentido de que sí logra mantener al espectador enganchado, buscando respuestas y en especial esperando que la verdad salga a la luz.
Lo que se busca comprender aquí, es la naturaleza de la estructura psicológica del protagonista, por lo que estoy segura que una persona que estudió psicología o que entiende mucho sobre el tema, puede sacarle el jugo de una manera increíble a esta serie, ya que cada personaje cuenta con una dinámica muy particular y muy evidente.
El rol de cada uno de ellos da lugar a demasiadas preguntas, como las que mencioné en relación a la culpabilidad de Sergio u otras como si Ana está enamorada de él, si Ana es la hermana, si no fue la hermana la asesina y otras, lo cual también ofrece cierta dosis adictiva.
However, it is not a production that I liked. I found it too dark, somewhat slow, and rather twisted. And although this can be very catching for some people, I don't like it very much.
I ended up there because of the main character and because the plot seemed interesting but well, finally the story itself, I didn't like it.
It reminded me of a movie I saw a few months ago, also Spanish, La Jefa, which is somewhat stronger than this story, but left me with a rather bitter feeling.

Sin embargo no es una producción que me haya gustado. La vi demasiado oscura, algo lenta, y bastante retorcida. Y aunque esto puede resultar muy atrapante para ciertas personas, pues a mí no me gusta demasiado.
Terminé allí por el protagonista y porque la trama parecía interesante pero bueno, finalmente la historia en sí, no me gustó.
Me recordó a una película que vi hace unos meses, también española, La Jefa, que es algo más fuerte que esta historia, pero que me dejó con una sensación bastante amarga.
