Un saludo cordial a la comunidad más Cinéfila de la plataforma y como ya los tengo un poco abandonados he retomado mi blog y espero traer algunas reseñas escritas de películas que he tenido la oportunidad de ver en los últimos días. Soy más de hacer videos es más cómodo para mi aunque suelo divagar un poco y escribiendo puedo controlar un poco más hacia dónde voy y plasmar mi idea con más claridad, eso sí en los próximos días me activo con mis video reseña ya que no quiero dejar de subir videos.

I'm more of a video maker, it's more comfortable for me although I usually ramble a bit and writing I can control a little more where I'm going and express my idea more clearly, but in the next few days I will be active with my video reviews because I don't want to stop uploading videos.
Hoy les traigo una reseña de una película que vi hace poco y que debo confesar despertó mi curiosidad desde el primer segundo ya que su intro tenía ese estilo atractivo con una música de fondo que embocaba el misterio y terror al mejor estilo de las series de los 90 lo cual fue suficiente para no quitar la mirada de la pantalla y con esas ganas a millón de toparme con algo que pusiera a trabajar mi cabeza o por lo menos quitarme el aburrimiento.
Antes de dar inicio quiero que nos pasemos un poco por la serie Black Mirror si esta famosa serie que puedes ver en Netflix la cual cuenta en este momento con 5 temporadas la cual te recomiendo con los ojos cerrados. En fin tomó como ejemplo esta serie ya que la película de la cual te hablaré más adelante tiene un estilo parecido y es que juegan con eso de montar cada situación en escenarios distinto para que entendamos su contexto y podamos no solo darle forma a la historia sino también a su final.
Phobias es un thriller de terror que intenta llevarte por un camino oscuro donde la decadencia humana y pocos valores son parte fundamental de su historia y que no juegan con tu mente ya que lo que desean es mostrar diferentes realidades en un mismo universo. Aquí lo más importante es saber si lo supieron manejar ya que es una película que no cuenta con una sola cabeza en su dirección sino que con varias al mando y eso se puede tornar un poco difícil de digerir ya que muchas manos en la masa pueden terminar por echar a perder y no te puedas comer esa rica arepa al final.
Una de sus directoras es (Maritte Lee Go) la misma de la película Black as Night la cual fue para mí una gran pérdida de tiempo ya que me dejó con un mal sabor de boca y no la recomendaría aunque me pagara. Los que me siguen desde hace tiempo saben que no soy de estar hablándote de la filmografía de sus actores o directores que soy más de ir al grano, pero bueno no quiero que este post sea tan corto y por ello te dejo un poco más de información que quizás no la necesites ya que en este momento vamos directamente al grano ya que lo que realmente te interesa es conocer un poco sobre la película y mi humilde opinión.

¿DE QUÉ TRATA LA PELÍCULA?
¡TE LO CUENTO RÁPIDO Y SIN SPOILERS, POR SI AÚN NO LA HAS VISTO!
PHOBIAS es una película del año 2021 del género Suspenso/Terror con una duración aproximada de 1h 25m que nos cuenta la historia de 5 personas que pasan por situaciones de estrés y locura los cuales iremos conociendo a medida que avanza la película, con algo de fantasía y terror. Cada personaje tiene su tiempo y se va desarrollando en un corto periodo de tiempo ya que no necesitamos conocerlos a profundidad, pero si las razones por las cuales se encuentran conectados y en el mismo lugar. Todos estos personajes tienen una fobia en particular y si buscas el concepto de fobia en el internet podrás tener una idea más abierta de lo que es una fobia más allá de lo que conocemos normalmente y que tiene peso dentro de la película.
La película comienza con el personaje de Johnny (Leonardo Nam) quien es el personaje que inicia y termina toda esta historia y si te adelanto esto ya que si no mal recuerdas más arriba te conté sobre Black Mirror y lo parecido que tiene al momento de crear cada capítulo o bloques dentro de la trama. Este joven es un chico tímido que vive con su padre enfermo y que padece de una fobia particular que es que le teme a la electricidad. Si es extraño pero más extraño se pondrá todo cuando se tope con una persona en la internet quien le pide ser su amigo y le muestra lo fácil y vulnerable que son las personas a su alrededor.
Todo corre a ritmo acelerado y puede que te cueste entender su primeros 20 minutos, pero luego las cosas se aclaran y es donde nos topamos con los siguientes personajes que poseen fobias o miedos totalmente distintos cada uno tiene su espacio y cada escena es mejor que la siguiente si te pones en los zapatos de cada personaje y no te dejas llevar por lo primero que veas y dejas de lado lo que verás al final.
Darte más información es crear un pequeño puente directo al spoilers más grande de la historia y por eso he tomado la decisión de hablarte más delante de algunos de sus personajes para de esa forma despertar tú interés ya que no cuenta con el tiempo suficiente para que se desarrolle mejor su historia y todo está tan compacto que cualquier pista adicional te puede arruinar la experiencia.
MI OPINIÓN LIBRE DE SPOILERS
Tengo que hacer énfasis en la serie Black Mirror y es que es difícil no pensar en ello mientras vez la película y es que tiene el mismo estilo que sería tonto no marcar ese punto tan importante y vaya cada bloque tiene su personalidad que logras conectar exactamente en esos momentos con la historia ya que tiene unos fallos o giros que te sacan de onda y pierdes por momentos el interés y parece que estás viendo una de las películas del gran (M. Night Shyamalan) de esas que inician medio bien luego agarran forma y al final solo dices; bueno pudo haber sido peor, pero aun así la disfrutas sin darte tanta mala vida.
Algo que no me cuadró del todo fue eso de las fobias y es que no tenía mucho sentido en algunas de sus personajes ya que lo podríamos definir de otra manera como para darle sentido a todo por lo menos dentro de nuestra cabeza curiosa que siempre está buscando la forma de tener todo ordenado y con lógica así no seamos los más detallistas, pero que cuando lo vemos en una película o serie nos hace un poco de ruido.
Tiene un par de personajes con una historia de fondo perturbadora y muy interesante que creo que es el punto fuerte de la película y por la cual no la deje de ver a mita ya que si debo confesar que eso que me hace ruido puede ser una razón suficiente para dejarla a la mitad, pero le tuve paciencia y pude verla hasta el final. Quiero en este punto hablarte de algunos de sus personajes sin tener la necesidad de contarte mucho más ya que sinceramente esta reseña debería estar llena de spoilers ya que es la única manera de darte mi opinión, pero como tengo la vaga impresión de que un porcentaje muy pero muy pequeño de usuarios ha visto esta película prefiero no hablar de más y darles la oportunidad de que la vean y quizás en la casilla de comentarios poder debatir o cambiar nuestras impresiones sin miedo a dejar caer cualquier spoilers.
HABLEMOS DE LOS PERSONAJES: como dije anteriormente cada personaje tiene su peso dentro de la trama y cada uno destaca por alguna razón del otro lo cual me gustó mucho ya que no toda la película dejó caer su peso en un solo personaje además los actores que lo interpretan no son tan bien conocidos y quizás veas rostros nuevos.
Quiero comentar con el personaje interpretado por (Lauren Miller) si la esposa del loco y carismático (Seth Rogen) no soy farandulero, pero vaya que esto no lo podía dejar pasar. Ella interpreta a Emma una mujer que pasa largas noches lejos de su esposo y que a la vez mantiene un amarrido con el padre de uno de sus estudiantes. Una noche se topa con que han entrado a su casa y el infierno se desata debido al error de estar con un hombre casado y sus verdugos no tendrán temor de dios. Un personaje interesante que sin duda llamará tu atención.
Tenemos por otro lado al personaje más perturbador y el cual padece de una fobia algo bizarra, pero más bizarra es como nos la presentan. Es interpretada por (Macy Gray) quien le da vida a una mujer llamada Renne con un gusto por la estética que repasa los límites de lo aceptable y que esconde un oscuro secreto detrás de una sonrisa que inspira confianza pero que es la puerta hacia la boca del lobo.
Estos dos personajes salvaron sin duda alguna esta película y cumplen con lo que se espera desde el inicio y es por ello que no dude en traer esta reseña y espero que se animen a daré una oportunidad sin miedo al no ser complacidos en su totalidad.
¿LA RECOMIENDO?: Quizás ya tengas clara mi respuesta y es que tengo que recomendarla y por favor no te deje llevar por mi calificación que a pesar de no ser la mejor no tiene mucho que ver con su historia sino más bien con la forma en que fue ejecutada la cual no tuvo el peso necesario para darle ese toque de personalidad que necesita para no verse como una copia de otras de las cuales ya irás descubriendo al momento de echarle un vistazo.
Dejando eso de lado, te la recomiendo y es que es de esas películas que pueden aspirar a mucho más y que tú como espectador puedes digerir si hables tu mente y te sacas de la cabeza detalles que te alejen y con eso puede que la disfrutes. Una trama dividida por sus personajes con un final común lleno de interrogantes y situaciones fuera de lo común.

Escenas con una atmósfera oscura, perturbadora y llena de tensión. (Hasta cierto punto)
Personajes interesantes y nada predecibles.
LO MALO
Un inicio y final que no conectan para nada con todo lo que se presentó, lo cual le quita gran peso a la historia.
La duración es muy poca para lo mucho que se le pudo exprimir en algunas de sus escenas.

Today I bring you a review of a movie that I saw recently and that I must confess aroused my curiosity from the first second since its intro had that attractive style with a background music that funneled the mystery and terror in the best style of the series of the 90s which was enough to not take my eyes off the screen and with that desire to a million to run into something that would put my head to work or at least take away the boredom.

Phobias is a terror thriller that tries to take you through a dark path where human decadence and few values are a fundamental part of its story and that does not play with your mind since what they want is to show different realities in the same universe. Here the most important thing is to know if they knew how to handle it because it is a film that does not have a single head in its direction but with several at the helm and that can become a little difficult to digest because many hands in the dough can end up spoiling and you can not eat that rich arepa at the end.
One of its directors is (Maritte Lee Go) the same of the movie Black as Night which for me was a big waste of time as it left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I wouldn't recommend it even if it paid me. Those who follow me for a long time know that I am not to be talking about the filmography of their actors or directors that I am more to go to the point, but well I do not want this post to be so short and therefore I leave you a little more information that you may not need it since at this time we go directly to the point since what really interests you is to know a little about the film and my humble opinion.

WHAT'S THE MOVIE ABOUT?
I'LL TELL YOU QUICKLY AND WITHOUT SPOILERS, IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET!
PHOBIAS is a film of the year 2021 of the genre Suspense/Terror with an approximate duration of 1h 25m that tells us the story of 5 people who go through stressful and crazy situations which we will know as the film progresses, with some fantasy and horror. Each character has his or her time and is developed in a short period of time since we don't need to know them in depth, but we do need to know the reasons why they are connected and in the same place. All these characters have a particular phobia and if you look up the concept of phobia on the internet you can have a more open idea of what a phobia is beyond what we normally know and that has weight within the film.
The film begins with the character of Johnny (Leonardo Nam) who is the character that begins and ends all this story and if you advance this because if you remember correctly above I told you about Black Mirror and how similar it has at the time of creating each chapter or blocks within the plot. This young man is a shy boy who lives with his sick father and suffers from a particular phobia which is that he is afraid of electricity. Yes it is strange but it gets stranger when he meets a person on the internet who asks him to be his friend and shows him how easy and vulnerable the people around him are.
Everything runs at a fast pace and you might have a hard time understanding its first 20 minutes, but then things become clearer and that's where we meet the following characters who have totally different phobias or fears each one has their space and each scene is better than the next if you put yourself in the shoes of each character and don't get carried away by the first thing you see and put aside what you will see at the end.
Giving you more information is creating a small bridge straight to the bigger spoilers of the story and that's why I've taken the decision to tell you more ahead of some of the characters in order to pique your interest since there is not enough time for their story to develop and everything is so tightly packed that any additional clues can ruin the experience.
MY SPOILER FREE OPINION
I have to emphasize the series Black Mirror and it's hard not to think about it while watching the movie and it has the same style that would be silly not to mark that important point and go each block has its personality that you manage to connect exactly in those moments with the story as it has some flaws or twists that take you out of the loop and you lose interest at times and it seems you're watching one of the films of the great (M. Night Shyamalan) of those that start out halfway good then they take shape and at the end you just say; well it could have been worse, but you still enjoy it without giving yourself so much bad life.
Something that didn't quite fit me was that of the phobias and it didn't make much sense in some of its characters since we could define it in another way as to make sense of everything at least inside our curious head that is always looking for a way to have everything in order and with logic even if we are not the most detailed, but when we see it in a movie or series it makes us a little noise.
It has a couple of characters with a disturbing and very interesting backstory that I think is the strong point of the film and why I did not stop watching it at mita because if I must confess that that makes me noise can be a good enough reason to leave it in the middle, but I had patience and I could see it until the end. At this point I want to talk about some of its characters without having the need to tell you much more because honestly this review should be full of spoilers as it is the only way to give you my opinion, but as I have the vague impression that a very, very small percentage of users have seen this movie I prefer not to talk about more and give you the opportunity to see it and maybe in the comments box we can discuss or change our impressions without fear of dropping any spoilers.
LET'S TALK ABOUT THE CHARACTERS: as I said before each character has their weight within the plot and each one stands out for some reason from the other which I really liked since the whole movie didn't drop its weight on one character plus the actors who play them are not so well known and you might see new faces.
I want to comment with the character played by (Lauren Miller) if the wife of the crazy and charismatic (Seth Rogen) I'm no showman, but boy this one I couldn't pass up. She plays Emma a woman who spends long nights away from her husband while having an affair with the father of one of her students. One night she finds that her house has been broken into and all hell breaks loose due to the mistake of being with a married man and her tormentors will have no fear of god. An interesting character that will definitely catch your attention.
We have on the other hand the most disturbing character who suffers from a somewhat bizarre phobia, but more bizarre is how she is presented to us. She is played by (Macy Gray) who gives life to a woman named Renne with a taste for aesthetics that goes beyond the limits of what is acceptable and who hides a dark secret behind a smile that inspires confidence but is the door to the lion's den.
These two characters undoubtedly saved this film and fulfill what is expected from the beginning and that is why I do not hesitate to bring this review and I hope you are encouraged to give it a chance without fear of not being pleased in its entirety.
I recommend it: Maybe you already have my answer clear and I have to recommend it and please do not get carried away by my rating that despite not being the best does not have much to do with its story but rather with the way it was executed which did not have the necessary weight to give it that touch of personality it needs to not look like a copy of others of which you will discover at the time to take a look at it.
Leaving that aside, I recommend it and it is one of those films that can aspire to much more and that you as a viewer can digest if you speak your mind and take out of your head details that keep you away and with that you may enjoy it. A plot divided by its characters with a common ending full of question marks and out of the ordinary situations.

A beginning and end that do not connect at all with everything that was presented, which takes away a lot of weight from the story.
The length is too short for how much it could have been squeezed into some of its scenes.

Maravilloso Post, al grano y cuidando siempre de no hacer spoilers, suficiente información como para decidirme a verla y más aun si tiene ese toque estilo Black Mirror donde muestran cada caso aislado, le sumo también que justo este es el tipo de peliculas de suspenso que me llaman la atención, aquellas donde podemos ver aspectos "paranormales" o conductas mentales fuera de lo acostumbrado, no soy del estilo de terror tipo "Gore". Si es algo que se le nota mucho al estilo de Black Mirror y creo que funciona perfectamente ya que esa es la dirección que debe llevar para crear esa curiosidad en el espectador. Aunque la crítica experimentada la destroce como un intento fallido.
Yo en lo personal pienso que sí hubiera tenido un inicio y final distinto quizás la crítica la hubiera visto con otros ojos. De verdad muchas gracias por dejar tan buen comentario y ojala podamos hablar en el podcast de la comunidad de otras películas.
