RE: [ESP-ENG] Thriller psychology - time travel || Favorite genre || (OCD)

I love this genre and your movie/series choices are all amazing. In my opinion, both Dark and Your Name (The Japanese animated movie) are masterpieces. The movies with Jake Gyllenhaal are great too, he is an actor with excellent roles throughout his career.

You should check the other works from Makoto Shinkai, creator of Your Name. None is as good as Your Name but he has other several good stories such as The Garden of Words and 5 Centimeters Per Second. The one that could be compared with Your Name is Weathering with You but even though it is great it wasn't a masterpiece, at least for me.

There are other Japanese anime productions that you might like, such as Perfect Blue (thriller, similar to the movie Black Swan with Natalie Portman), Paprika (similar to Inception), the series Steins;Gate (great time travel series with a bunch of silliness and comedy), Serial Experiments Lain (similar to the Matrix but with a lot of differences as well), among many others. When it comes to normal movies, have you seen Timecrimes, Predestination and Primer? They are all great time travel films.

Wow I agree with you, Donnie darko and Your name are great works of art. Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my favorite actors, because of what you said, they give him really amazing and interesting roles, I've seen a few movies with him in them.

I have only seen 3 movies by Makoto Shinkai which are Your Name, Time with You, Garden of Words . All three are works of arts, I haven't seen the first one you mention but I'm adding it to my list right now, I'm 100% sure it will be worth watching .

Perfet Blue just my sister has it saved to see it, so if I will see it I will, however of all those mentioned the only one that rings a bell is "Paprika" I have not seen it but I have heard a lot about it, I think it's time to download it and see how I like it, with the others I will look for them and see how they are, thanks for all the recommendations, I really appreciate it.

Thanks again for all your support!
