RE: My thoughts on the Netflix show "Beef" starring comedian Ali Wong

I liked this, a lot. It was a little dramatic at times, beyond belief almost, but the core message resonates with a lot of people, especially people in the 30+, 40+ age range.

Interestingly, the younger brother who seems to be a crypto connoisseur accurately portrays why I believe a lot of younger people get involved with crypto today. As opposed to why people entered crypto in the much earlier days, the allure of building wealth quickly against the lack of opportunities elsewhere rings very true. I didn't like the resolution to this as I don't feel a moral to that part was brought full circle.

Otherwise, it was one of the few shows I binged in it's entirety in a single day in quite a while!

My friend and I both loved it. We tried to recommend it to each other and then found out we had both already finished the entire first season and shared equal love for it.

I did appreciate the had some mention of crypto. I loved that little brother, such a cool character. He was definitely lacking guidance though and reminded me of a lot of people I know who are just gambling with crypto.

I can’t say I watched all of this in a single day, but I did do multiple episodes in one day which is very rare for me. It took me less than 2 weeks to finish.
