Hello friends, I hope you are well, it has been a long time since I wrote about a movie, and I was so busy that I didn't have time to enjoy a good moment at the movies, so this weekend I came across a gem that I come to recommend you. I won't make any kind of spoilers and will only limit myself to briefly commenting on what I liked about this movie. It's called "NEXT GOAL WINS" directed by Taika Waititi, known for directing some films, including some of Thor, and starring Michael Fassbender, I honestly didn't have much faith in this film since I don't like the way it approaches this director's humor, but I decided to give it a chance, since it was a sports story, and I really like these kinds of stories because of the high emotional and motivational charge they express.
Hola amigos, espero que estén muy bien, hace mucho que no escribía acerca de una película, y es que estuve muy ocupado que no me quedaba tiempo de disfrutar un buen momento de cine, así que este fin de semana me ecnontré con una joya que vengo a recomendarles. No haré ninguna clase de spoliers y solo me limitaré a comentar brevemente lo que me gustó de esta película. Se llama "NEXT GOAL WINS" dirigida por Taika Waititi, conocido por dirigir algunas películas, entre ellas algunas de Thor, y protagonizada por Michael Fassbender, sinceramente no le tenía mucha fe a esta película ya que no me gusta la forma en la que aborda el humor este director, pero decidí darle una oportunidad, ya que era una historia deportiva, y esta clase de historias me gustan mucho por la alta carga emocional y de motivación que expresan.

The main character is Thomas Rongen, the coach of American Samora, played by Michael Fassbender, and I personally had a lot of confusion with this character, and it is because it is difficult for me to see this actor in such different situations, I do not have him as a comedy actor , but I think it does stand out a little. But the character he plays is really detestable for many reasons, being disgusted with the life around him, he vents his anger and frustration against the decline of the world, the fact of how events occur so that he ends up being the coach of this team. of losers, is what in turn makes the story attractive. Although it doesn't seem to me that his final moment is not one of redemption, I think that in some way he can make peace with himself.
El personaje principal es Thomas Rongen, el entrenador de Samora Americana, protagonizado por Michael Fassbender, y personalmente tuve mucha confusión con este personaje, y es porque me resulta difícil ver a este actor en situaciones tan diferentes, no lo tengo como un actor de comedia, pero creo que si destaca un poco. Pero el personaje que lleva a cabo es realmente detestable por muchas razones, al estar disgustado con la vida que le rodea, descarga su ira y frustración contra el resto del mundo, el hecho de como ocurren los acontecimientos para que termine siendo entrenador de esta selección de perdedores, es lo que a su vez hace atractiva la historia. Si bien no me parece que su momento final no sea de redención, creo que de alguna forma puede hacer las pases consigo mismo.

La selección de futbol? sin duda los peores del mundo, pero cada uno es especial y en equipo tienen mucho carisma, reflejan muy bien la cultura de su nación en contraste con el entrenador, la simbiosis que sufren ambos, el equipo como un todo y el entrenador está muy bien planteada, porque este último comienza a verse un poco influido y esto poco a poco va cambiando la actitud como entrenador. Al ver el primer acto de la película, pensé que era la típica película del hombre blanco civilizado llevando el verdadero futbol a un montón de salvajes, pero nada más lejos de la realidad.
Special mention should be made of the character of Jaiyah, for all the social and cultural background she has behind her, a transgender player who became the first to play in an official FIFA match and has become an ambassador for the rights of the LGBT community, within The story begins to be somewhat relegated by the coach, but then it shows what it is made of. Being an important part of the team, so like the rest of his teammates, he has great charisma. I think all this contrasts with his coach, and somehow, in the end, he changes his opinion and vision about Jaiyah.
Mención a parte el personaje de Jaiyah, por todo el trasfondo social y cultral que tiene detrás, jugadora transgenero que se convirtió la primera en disputar un partido oficial de la FIFA y se ha convertido en embajadora por los derechos de la comunidad LGBT, dentro de la historia comienza a ser un tanto relegada por el entrenador, pero después demuestra de lo que está hecha,. siendo parte importante dentro del equipo, de manera que al igual que el resto de sus compañeros, posee un gran carisma, creo que todo esto contrasta con su entrenador, y de alguna forma, este al final va cambiando su opinión y visión acerca de Jaiyah.
If I could say anything about what I learned from this film, or what I consider to be its message, it is that while sports strive for excellence, trophies and championships, I believe that nothing is more important than feeling part of something. great, and that something allows you to be happy, regardless of whether you win or lose, this is what I have left after watching it and I think that is why I consider it a great film. Si oudiera decir algo acerca de lo que aprendí con esta película, o lo que considero fue su mensaje, es que si bien en los deportes se persigue la excelencia, los trofeos y los campeonatos, creo que nada es más importante que sentirse parte de algo grande, y que ese algo te permita ser felíz, sin importar si ganas o pierdas, esto es lo que me ha quedado después de verla y creo que por eso la considero una gran película. Son bastante emotivas y tienen un crecimiento emocional de los personajes, siempre suele ser un buen tema.
