I have never seen Lycoris Recoil so I can't give you an accurate opinion about this anime. What I can tell you is that I love watching these broadcasts, most of the stuff I watch is this. With your comments regarding this anime it doesn't really catch my attention to watch it but who knows maybe someday I will and let you know what I think of it.
What I can tell you is that I like the way you put your opinion of Lycoris Recoil, I like the sincerity of your words, since I consider that we should not always bring what we like, but on the contrary give an opinion according to our experiences with these anime.
I recommend you The Hero of the Shield, I don't know if you will like it but it was the last one I saw that really caught my attention and I liked it.
