Many of us have had traumatic experiences, and after them we just have to reincorporate to society and get our lives moving. It sounds easy, right? well, Kimmy Schmidt developed a patented process to overcome the most horrid experiences in life in nothing less than a million steps and years of hard work. That's right, just with this process you too can overcome anything (sort of) and begin your new life (side effects might appear). Unbreakable is living with a traumatic experience made comedy. Kimmy finds herself in the need to start over after missing the world for 15 years. I have laughed so hard with this show at the best style of Saturday Night Life.

The main plot is about this young woman and her friends coming out of a 15 years kidnap perpetrated by "the reverend." He convinced them the world ended, and he kept them inside a bunker all that time. Once rescued, the recently post-traumatized victims, now called Mole women, all have to start over, and Kimmy chooses not other city than New York to do so. There is a charm of a country girl starting her life at some big city that we all love. Her path is nothing more than troublesome, weird, ignorant, boldly, full of trauma, and ups and downs of luck inside the concrete jungle.

Kimmy adventures take her to find a place to stay, a very diva roommate, a high society lady boss, and a New-Yorker-to-the-core landlady. Each new character is like watching all the cast from old Saturday Night life. This show was made by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. They have a great story of good shows together like 30 Rock. So, in Unbreakable is frequently about familiar faces with some great additions to keep the show fresh and funny.
Something the show exploits well is the over-exaggeration made reality. Sometimes, the jokes are based in such improbable things, yet they make perfect funny sense! Another great thing is the capacity of the show to keep things connected. Small little details are introduced in the chapters and then re-introduced as the show's lessons, knowledge, common sense, or culture. I believe that characteristic makes this comedy extremely binge-watchable to the point you won't feel the end of a season with the beginning of another.
Las aventuras de Kimmy la llevan a encontrar un lugar donde quedarse, una compañera de cuarto muy diva, una jefa de la alta sociedad y una casera neoyorquina hasta la médula. Cada nuevo personaje es como ver todo el elenco de la vieja vida de Saturday Night. Este espectáculo fue realizado por Tina Fey y Robert Carlock. Tienen una gran historia de buenos shows juntos como 30 Rock. Por lo tanto, en Unbreakable se trata con frecuencia de caras familiares con algunas adiciones geniales para mantener el espectáculo fresco y divertido.

They way the show laughs about secret small cults in America is glorious. To be honest, that is what it made me watch the first episode. A cult survivor in new York? I must watch this. Maybe is also because kidnapping in my country was so common we don't even get alarmed anymore lol. On the other hand, the reverend is such a disgusting villain which means the role is causing its proper effect. The way each victim got kidnapped is so dumb and funny to almost mimic reality. Oh, the cult's lessons are even worse! Don't worry, the villain received what he deserved, and in the process we learn so much more about the life inside the bunker to keep laughing.
La forma en que el programa se ríe de los pequeños cultos secretos en Estados Unidos es gloriosa. Para ser honesto, eso es lo que me hizo ver el primer episodio. ¿Un superviviente de una secta en Nueva York? Debo ver esto. Quizás también sea porque los secuestros en mi país eran tan comunes que ya ni nos alarmamos jajaja. Por otro lado, el reverendo es un villano tan repugnante que significa que el papel está causando el efecto adecuado. La forma en que secuestraron a cada víctima es tan tonta y divertida que casi imita la realidad. ¡Oh, las lecciones del culto son aún peores! No te preocupes, el villano recibió su merecido, y en el proceso aprendemos mucho más sobre la vida dentro del búnker para seguir riéndonos.
The paths of kimmy are varied. From assistant to student to book writer, and to software company CEO, she just seems to try it all. Each time, she faces her trauma of being in a bunker. My favorite part of the show is when she starts treatment with her therapist (played by Tina Fey) and all the crazy advices she gets from her. Believe it or not, within all the jokes, there are actually nice lessons we could all learn and apply, but the presentation is so unique for entertainment.
Los caminos de kimmy son variados. De asistente a estudiante, escritora de libros y directora ejecutiva de una compañía de software, parece intentarlo todo. Cada vez, se enfrenta a su trauma de estar en un búnker. Mi parte favorita del programa es cuando comienza el tratamiento con su terapeuta (interpretada por Tina Fey) y todos los consejos locos que recibe de ella. Lo crea o no, dentro de todos los chistes, en realidad hay buenas lecciones que todos podríamos aprender y aplicar, pero la presentación es única para el entretenimiento.
If you have loved Tina Fey's work in the past, I assure you this will keep you a fan. Unbreakable has that reality mixed with the absurd in her unique measure of balance for you to laugh and enjoy. It is a well thought comedy of present times. I binge-watched this baby to the point of laugh exhaustion. I completely recommend the show if you wan to have a good time, check it out and let me know if you agree. Make fun of the trauma and move on!
Si te ha encantado el trabajo de Tina Fey en el pasado, te aseguro que esto te mantendrá como fan. Unbreakable tiene esa realidad mezclada con el absurdo en su única medida de equilibrio para que te rías y disfrutes. Es una comedia bien pensada de los tiempos actuales. Observé atracones a este bebé hasta el punto de morirme de risa. Recomiendo completamente el programa si quieres pasar un buen rato, échale un vistazo y avísame si estás de acuerdo. ¡Búrlate del trauma y sigue adelante!

He visto episodios aleatorios y realmente se merecen todas las nominaciones que han recibido varias veces a los emmys, aunque no creo que hayan ganado. Para disfrutar de su humor, es muy entretenida.
Lo interesante es poder responder a su tipo de humor aun no siendo americano. Todos podemos identificarnos con lo que sucede y de seguro nos saca una carcajada.
Genial una recomendación ligera para cuando no sabes que ver sin necesidad de prestar mucha atención, últimamente me cuesta elegir bien y siempre termino viendo repeticiones de algún Reality absurdo 🤣
