Es mi primera vez en esta comunidad de movies y tv shows y me emociona mucho poder comentarles y darles mi opinión sobre algunas series y películas que he visto. En este caso vengo a hablarles del dorama: “My demon” (que en netflix titularon “Mi adorable demonio”.
Hasta ahora, solo he visto dos doramas. El primero fue “King the land” y dejó la vara muuuuy alta. Esta vez decidí darle una oportunidad a “Mi adorable demonio”, aunque no estaba muy segura de que la vería completa pero algunos comentarios de mi mamá (que ya iba bastante adelantada con la historia) me hicieron considerarlo.
En líneas generales la historia de un contrato nupcial entre Do Do-hee (nuestra protagonista) y Jeong Gu-Won (nuestro adorable demonio). Gu-Won pierde sus poderes, que en realidad son traspasados a Do-hee, que está en medio de una guerra de poder con “su familia” para obtener la herencia y presidencia del grupo Mirae que le deja la señora Ju (quien la adoptó al morir sus padres).
Do-hee necesita casarse para poder acceder a la presidencia mientras que Gu-Won necesita estar cerca de Do-hee para poder hacer uso de sus poderes y seguir firmando contratos a personas que deciden tomar malas decisiones y que en el transcurso de 10 años sus almas irán a parar al infierno.
Ahora, todo esto va normal y no era algo que me llamara la atención por completo, hasta que me encontré con las subtramas. Algo que no entendía era el uso de la cruz, cuando es parte de la religión católica, ni que Dios estuviera presente en la serie y en que Gu-Won lo reconoce como su jefe. Debo felicitar a los guionistas, porque esta subtrama es parte importante de todo lo que sucede y está perfectamente encajada con todo lo que sucede: la religión católica juega un papel importante, la fe, el perdón, el si te vas al cielo o al infierno según tus actos, las conversaciones entre Dios y el diablo (Gu-Won). Algo que tengo que resaltar es que dejan muy en claro que los seres humanos tenemos libre albedrío y cada quien toma sus decisiones sobre una ruleta rusa. Están Dios y el diablo, pero el ser humano es el que elige que camino recorrer.
¿Algo que tampoco esperaba? La subtrama de asesinatos que envuelve el camino para obtener el poder del grupo Mirae. Pasas más de media serie intentando descubrir quien esta detras de los intentos de asesinato a Do-Hee. Si algo se puede decir es que es una serie que puede tenerte atrapado a la espera de que algo pase.
Sobre mi adorable demonio; Gu-Won. Debo decir que su personaje se desarrolló desde un ser arrogante y sin sentimientos, hasta llegar al punto donde no le importo sacrificarse por otro. El amor llevó a este demonio a un punto sin retorno. Sobre Do-Hee puedo decir que tuvo que perderlo todo para poder liberarse y permitirse por fin ser feliz. Cayó en los huecos más oscuros de la trama y aún así logró levantarse y continuar.
La relación de Gu-Won y Do-hee trasciende tiempos, vidas, religiones y es sin duda una historia que te permite creer en el amor y entender muy a fondo la religión y ese dualismo entre bien y mal.
Otros personajes que ame: el señor park, la señorita shin, Jin Ga-yeong, Joo Seok-hun. Sin duda, constituyen parte importante de la familia que forman con Gu-Won y Do-hee.

Mi puntuación es 10/10, todo en esta serie está perfectamente enlazado y conectado. Fue perfecto y lo recomiendo completamente. Ahora, mi pregunta es; ¿cuál será la siguiente serie en atraparme?

So far, I have only watched two doramas. The first one was "King the land" and it set the bar very high. This time I decided to give "My Lovable Demon" a chance, although I wasn't too sure I would watch it in its entirety but some comments from my mom (who was already pretty far ahead with the story) made me consider it.
Broadly the story of a marriage contract between Do Do-hee (our protagonist) and Jeong Gu-Won (our adorable demon). Gu-Won loses his powers, which are actually passed on to Do-hee, who is in the middle of a proxy war with "her family" to get the inheritance and presidency of the Mirae group left to her by Mrs. Ju (who adopted her upon the death of her parents).

Now, this is all going normal and wasn't something that caught my attention completely, until I came across the subplots. Something I didn't understand was the use of the cross, when it is part of the Catholic religion, nor that God was present in the series and in that Gu-Won recognizes him as his boss. I must congratulate the scriptwriters, because this subplot is an important part of everything that happens and it is perfectly fitted with everything that happens: the Catholic religion plays an important role, faith, forgiveness, whether you go to heaven or hell according to your actions, the conversations between God and the devil (Gu-Won). Something I have to emphasize is that they make it very clear that human beings have free will and everyone makes their decisions on a Russian roulette. There is God and the devil, but the human being is the one who chooses which path to follow.
Something I didn't expect either? The murder subplot involving the Mirae group's path to power. You spend more than half the series trying to figure out who is behind the assassination attempts on Do-Hee. If anything, it's a series that can keep you gripped waiting for something to happen.
About my lovely demon; Gu-Won. I must say that his character developed from an arrogant and unfeeling being, to the point where he didn't mind sacrificing himself for another. Love drove this demon to a point of no return. About Do-Hee I can say that he had to lose everything in order to break free and finally allow himself to be happy. He fell into the darkest plot holes and still managed to pick himself up and carry on.
Gu-Won and Do-hee's relationship transcends times, lives, religions and is without a doubt a story that allows you to believe in love and understand religion and that dualism between good and evil very deeply.
Other characters I loved: Mr. Park, Miss Shin, Jin Ga-yeong, Joo Seok-hun. Without a doubt, they are an important part of the family they form with Gu-Won and Do-hee.
My rating is 10/10, everything in this series is perfectly linked and connected. It was perfect and I fully recommend it. Now, my question is; what will be the next series to grab me?

ahhh I haven’t finished this yet. This is a really good drama for me too. I need to continue watching. King the land got boring midway for me so I stopped watching. I recommend Marry Mu Husband if you are into revenge and reincarnation. It’s still ongoing but it’s really good. Enjoy ☺️

Que buen resumen, estoy por iniciar este dorama y quiero ver que tan bueno es el personaje de Gu woon, ya que en otras interpretaciones Song Kang ha tenido papeles no muy buenos 😅
