I was afraid to see this movie, but I had to do it or my mind would never rest, and after I saw it the only thing I did was sigh and curl up in calm after seeing another incredible film by Jordan Peele, after seeing The Northman I can't say that I was not disappointed, and I was afraid that the same would happen with this third installment of Jordan Peele, but thankfully it was not so, although it should be noted that they are very different situations and it is understood that the products are not the same.

Nope is the combination of many stories that although not all of them are the main characters, they have their little time on screen and let us know that they exist, that they are there, and that they are just waiting to have their moment on screen to dazzle us. The main story will be that of the Haywood brothers, who after an accident begin to experience events out of this world, well yes, it includes aliens, and it's perfect, everything is perfect, there is no other way to say it, although I will try to do it in this review.

Tenía miedo de ver esta película, pero tuve que hacerlo o mi mente nunca a iba a descansar, ya después de que la vi lo único que hice fue suspirar y acurrucarme en calma después de ver otra increíble película de Jordan Peele, pues después de ver The Northman no puedo decir que no me decepcioné, y tenía miedo de que sucediera lo mismo con esta tercera entrega de Jordan Peele, pero agradezcamos que no fue así, aunque hay que destacar que son situaciones muy diferentes y se entiende que los productos no sean los mismos.

Nope es la combinación de muchas historias que si bien no todas son las protagonistas, tienen su pequeño tiempo en pantalla y nos hacen saber que existen, que están ahí, y que solo esperan tener su momento en pantalla para deslumbrarnos. La historia principal será la de los hermanos Haywood, quienes después de un accidente comienzan a experimentar sucesos fuera de este mundo, pues sí, incluye aliens, y es perfecto, todo es perfecto, no hay otra forma de decirlo, aunque trataré de hacerlo en esta reseña.

The beginning was difficult for me, it was only half way through when I started to get the hang of the movie, by the time the end came I was having chills trying to process the incredible production I had in front of me. As usual, this is not a movie for everyone, and this one in specific because it is not an ordinary movie, as I told you, it has several stories, and although none of them are related to each other, they are in the same universe, and the best of all is that there is a possibility that Jordan Peele will make the movies of those stories, and I just hope they confirm it, because I need to know more about the story of Geordy, of Ricky 'Jupe' Park, played by our beloved Steven Yeun, our Korean from The Walking Dead.

I remember watching Get Out and feeling the same way, a normal beginning, that only gradually with the advancement of the story is that it creates the necessary atmosphere to catch me, something that didn't happen with Us, I loved Us from the first comment in which I started watching the movie, I started loving it and ended up loving it more, which reminds me that I have to watch it again to review it. Nope it's spectacular, have a little slow and spaced out beginning, with the only fact that many night scenes were filmed during the day, fuck, the editing work is incredible, the more we know about the process of creating the film only gives us more excuses to praise it, at least those of us who have this kind of taste will do it.

El inicio fue difícil para mí, apenas hasta la mitad fue cuando comencé a agarrarle el gusto a la película, para cuando llegó el final estaba teniendo escalofríos tratando de procesar la increíble producción que tenía frente a mí. Como de costumbre, esta no es una película para todo el mundo, y esta en específico porque no es una película común, como les dije, tiene varias historias, y aunque ninguna está relacionada con la otra, están en el mismo universo, y lo mejor de todo es que existe la posibilidad de que Jordan Peele haga las películas de esas historias, y solo espero que lo confirmen, porque necesito saber más sobre la historia de Geordy, de Ricky 'Jupe' Park, interpretado por nuestro querido Steven Yeun, nuestro koreano de The Walking Dead.

Recuerdo ver Get Out y sentirme de la misma forma, un inicio normal, que solo gradualmente con el avance de la historia es que se crea el ambiente necesario como para atraparme, cosa que no sucedió con Us, yo amé Us desde el primer comento en el que comencé a ver la película, comencé amándola y terminé amándola más, lo que me recuerda que tengo que volver a verla para hacerle su reseña. Nope es espectacular, tenga un inicio un poco lento y espaciado, con el solo hecho de que muchas escenas nocturnas las hayan grabado de día, joder, el trabajo de edición es increíble, mientras más se sabe sobre el proceso de creación de la película solo nos da más excusas para alabarla, al menos lo haremos quienes tengamos este tipo de gustos.

The main story, the one about the aliens, or rather, the alien, has a perfect construction, although I couldn't stop laughing internally because the only thing I was thinking is that this could be a typical American movie with white people that instead of running towards danger, they go deeper and deeper into the dark no matter what because they don't know the real seriousness of the matter they are in; which only made me love the movie more, because you can really see the big difference in the way black people act in situations like this, because they are completely different, although not much, but those small differences, which have to be seen in the movie, are more than enough to make what could end in disaster, a complete success.

I'm still in a complete state of wonder at the construction of the alien, fuck, there comes a point where if you were in front of it, you wouldn't run because simply the magnitude of what you have in front of you surpasses and surpasses everything you know. All those scenes gave me chills, it was an exquisiteness that I wish many people could appreciate, because it's not only to see something new, but we still must and have the ability to be surprised and recognize the good work that is done with the existing and the new, and here they definitely stand out with the creation of this alien.

La historia principal, la de los aliens, o mejor dicho, el alien, tiene una construcción perfecta, aunque no me podía dejar de reír internamente porque lo único que pensaba es que esta podría ser una típica película americana con gente blanca que en vez de correr hacia el peligro, se adentra cada vez en lo oscuro sin importar qué pues no saben la verdadera gravedad del asunto en el que se encuentran; cosa que solo hizo que amara más la película, porque efectivamente se nota la gran diferencia que tendría el actuar de las personas negras en situaciones así, pues son completamente diferentes, aunque no mucho, pero esas pequeñas diferencias, que tienen que ver en la película, son más que suficiente para que lo que podría terminar en desastre, sea un completo éxito.

Yo aún sigo en un completo estado de maravilla por la construcción del alien, joder, llega un punto en el que si estuvieras frente a él, no correrías porque simplemente la magnitud de lo que tienes frente a ti supera y sobrepasa todo lo que conoces. Todas esas escenas me causaron escalofríos, fue una exquisitez que ojalá muchas personas supieran apreciar, porque no es solo ver algo nuevo, si no que aún debemos y tenemos que tener la capacidad de sorprendernos y reconocer el buen trabajo que se hace con lo existente y lo nuevo, y aquí definitivamente destacan con la creación de este alien.

The ending... I screamed, I screamed with the final scene and I celebrated as if my life depended on it, it had been a long time since I was so excited about a movie, well, that a movie made me so excited, it had me on the edge of my chair biting my nails waiting for the right moment to run, jump and hide as if the alien was going to come out of the screen, not even watching The Ring I felt like that. Jordan Peele, I love you, I hope you continue to have complete creative freedom of over all the movies you are going to work on, please no one take that away from you.

Looking for the trailer I had a good laugh when the second video that came out was one that was explaining the movie, and I was like this wtf? in series there are people that don't understand it, this is not a super complicated movie like The Arrival, it's extremely simple, made for all audiences, but I'm still surprised that not only there are people that look for the explanation in videos on youtube, but there are people that take the time to explain something that doesn't need an explanation. Go see Nope without expectations, it doesn't need them, it's like Get Out, it doesn't need help to be loved, it has everything necessary for people to appreciate it for what it is, a good movie.

El final... grité, grité con la escena final y celebré como si mi vida dependiera de eso, tenía tiempo que no me emocionaba tanto por una película, bueno, que una película me hacía emocionarme tanto, me tenía al borde de la silla comiéndome las uñas esperando el momento indicado para correr, saltar y esconderme como si el alien fuera a salir de la pantalla, ni viendo The Ring me sentí así. Jordan Peele, te amo, espero que sigas teniendo la completa libertad creativa de sobre todas las películas en las que vayas a trabajar, por favor, que nadie te quite eso.

Buscando el trailer me dio mucha risa que el segundo video que salía era uno que estaba explicando la película, y yo así de wtf? ¿en serie hay gente que no la entiende?, esta no es una película súpercomplicada como The Arrival, es sumamente simple, hecha para todo público, pero igual me sigue sorprendiendo que no solo haya gente que busque la explicación en videos en youtube, si no que haya gente que se tome el tiempo de explicar algo que no necesita explicación. Vayan a ver Nope sin expectativas, pues no las necesita, es como Get Out, no necesita ayuda para hacerse querer, tiene todo lo necesario para que la gente la aprecie como lo que es, una buena película.
