RE: Instructions not included is a wolf made of love [Eng | Spa]

Reading your review you have convinced me to give this movie a chance. In the past I have read other reviews but they focused on other aspects of the story, that's why I have never seen it, it didn't catch my attention, besides I'm not a big fan of the actor, I don't doubt he has talent, I know he is an actor that divides the public in his country, some love him, others can't stand him, I don't have any of those feelings, I just don't like his work very much. In Coda his character was the one I liked the least, but many people loved it. When I have time I will look for this movie.

I have a tough time with this actor in general before this film, to be honest, in Latin lover, I just could not stand him; it is just how it works, this film could never work if not done by him; he is like Stallone on this film, You remember those critics on Rocky 1 that said that Stallone dint act at all? It's similar with Eugenio Derbez on this film, he is just showing us how he lived parenthood, those intricate details that he lived with his kids out in the open for us to see, and that is why it works, because most actors would never act those details into a film, heck if he was not the director I doubt he would have been able to do so, that is why I focused on saying that.

You are not wrong on that comment, he is not a great actor, in fact, in this film he rarely acts at all, but it still shines because he does something weird, showing us the nature of parenthood he got to live, and the one he got to do, and that is why I love this film.
