Hello all Hive friends, I hope you are feeling great today. This time I want to talk about a sensational movie, that without a doubt was a mind-blowing journey, recently this week was the third time I saw it, and really every time I see it I feel the same emotion I felt that day when I went to see it at the cinema... it is the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. It is a visual and emotional explosion that will certainly catch more than one, it is the direct sequel to the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It's a movie that undoubtedly revolutionized animated movies in general, and it's something incredible that a superhero movie has made it out, and well, as it was a highly anticipated sequel, my expectations were sky high, and the truth is that I feel it exceeded them by far.

The first thing that hits you in this movie, as was the previous one, is its incredible animation... every frame really feels like a moving work of art, with styles that constantly change and make you feel like you are reading a comic book, this is amazing, really this attention to detail is amazing, and I think like the first movie, it completely transports you the story and allows you to connect in a unique way with the characters. All the backgrounds, expressions and action sequences in this movie are spectacular.. there are moments where I had to simply avoid saying wow, because I was truly blown away by the beauty on screen, watching it in the theater was without a doubt a roller coaster of unique experiences.. as for the story, this picks up where the previous movie left off, but I feel it ups the ante in every way possible.

Here we continue the story of our beloved Spider-Man, but this time it's not Peter Parker, as this movie stars the charismatic Miles Morales once again, he has grown up as the new Spider-Man and has had to face much more complex challenges, both as a superhero and as a teenager... His relationship with his parents and the kind of friendship/romance with Gwen are themes that are explored with a lot of depth and sensitivity within the whole story and left me very satisfied... I think the way they address the feelings and fears of a whole story is simply magnificent.

En esta ocasión les quiero hablar de una película sensacional, que sin duda fue un viaje alucinante, recientemente esta semana fue la tercera vez que la vi, y realmente cada vez que la veo siento la misma emoción que sentí aquel día cuando la fui a ver en el cine.. se trata de la película Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Es una explosión visual y emocional que sin duda atrapará a más de uno, es la secuela directa de la película Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Es una película que sin duda revolucionó las películas animadas en general, y es algo increíble que una película de superhéroes haya logrado que esta salga, y bueno, como era una secuela muy esperada, mis expectativas eran altísimas, y la verdad siento que las superó con creces.

Lo primero que te golpea en esta película, como lo fue la anterior, es su increíble animación.. cada cuadro realmente se siente como una obra de arte en movimiento, con estilos que cambian constantemente y te hacen sentir como si estuvieras leyendo un cómic, esto es increíble, realmente esta atención al detalle es asombrosa, y creo que como la primera película, te transporta completamente la historia y permite conectar de una manera única con los personajes. Todos los fondos, las expresiones y las secuencias de acción en esta película son espectaculares.. hay momentos en los que tuve que simplemente evitar decir wow, porque realmente me quedé maravillado por la belleza que había en pantalla, verla en el cine sin duda fue una montaña rusa de experiencias únicas.. en cuanto a la historia, esta retoma donde la anterior película la dejó, pero siento que eleva la apuesta en todos los sentidos posibles.

Aquí seguimos la historia de nuestro querido Spider-Man, pero esta vez no es Peter Parker, ya que esta película está protagonizada nuevamente por el carismático Miles Morales, este ha crecido como el nuevo Spider-Man y se ha tenido que enfrentar a desafíos mucho más complejos, tanto como superhéroe como adolescente.. Su relación con sus padres y la clase de amistad/romance con Gwen son temas que se exploran con mucha profundidad y sensibilidad dentro de toda la historia y me dejaron muy satisfecho.. creo que la manera en la que abordan los sentimientos y los miedos de toda una historia es sencillamente magnífica.

The role of Gwen, or better known as Spider-Gwen, in this movie is much more prominent and her personal story adds many additional layers of emotion to the story, the chemistry between her and Miles is really palpable, and their interactions are some of the most endearing moments of the whole movie.... The introduction of new characters, or rather new Spider-Men, such as Miguel O'Hara, who is Spider-Man 2099 or Spider-Punk, bring a lot of freshness and diversity to the large cast of characters....

Each Spider-Person has their own unique visual style and personality, which makes the concept of the multiverse feel really interesting and real, although I must admit that at times the movie can be a bit overwhelming, there are so many things happening on screen, so many constantly changing styles, that sometimes it can be a bit hard to follow the action or follow the characters within everything that is going on...

There were some moments when I had to make a little effort not to get lost in the visual chaos and keep my attention to what really matters or to the really important elements.. this is something I consider minor, since it is interesting to appreciate every single aspect of this movie, these feelings I had when I was watching it for the first time, but once I was watching it at home and I could watch it more than once, I think you understand a little bit every little reference and the movie stops being so overwhelming...

El papel de Gwen, o mejor conocida como Spider-Gwen, en esta película es mucho más prominente y su historia personal añade muchas capas adicionales de emoción a la historia, la química entre ella y Miles es realmente palpable, y sus interacciones son algunos de los momentos más entrañables de toda la película.. La introducción de nuevos personajes, o mejor dicho nuevos Spider-Man, como Miguel O'Hara, quien es Spider-Man 2099 o Spider-Punk, aportan mucha frescura y diversidad al gran elenco de personajes..

Cada Spider-Person tiene su propio estilo visual y personalidad única, lo que hace que el concepto del multiverso se sienta verdaderamente interesante y real, aunque debo admitir que por algunos momentos la película puede resultar un poquito abrumadora, hay tantas cosas sucediendo en pantalla, tantos estilos que cambian constantemente, que a veces puede ser un poco difícil seguir la acción o seguir a los personajes dentro de todo lo que está pasando..

Hubo algunos momentos en los que tuve que hacer un pequeño esfuerzo para no perderme en el caos visual y mantenerme atento a lo que en verdad importa o a los elementos realmente importantes.. esto es algo que considero menor, puesto que es interesante poder apreciar cada uno de los aspectos de esta película, estos sentimientos los tuve al momento de verla por primera vez, pero una vez que la estaba viendo en mi casa y pude verla más de una vez, creo que vas entendiendo un poco cada pequeña referencia y la película deja de ser tan abrumadora..

As for the villain of this sequel, we have The Spot, who is a character not so well known within the comics, but this time he has a much more interesting concept, his motivation and threat, although they don't really feel immediate, in some moments gives rise to some really incredible and visually impressive action scenes.. I feel that he is a villain that, at least at first, does not seem to have much of a threat, but as the film progresses, you realize all the danger that this character can cause, which may seem ridiculous, and later in the films to come will exploit even more how terrifying he can be.

En cuanto al villano de esta secuela, tenemos a La Mancha, quien es un personaje no tan conocido dentro de los cómics, pero que en esta ocasión tiene un concepto mucho más interesante, su motivación y amenaza, aunque no se sienten realmente inmediatas, en algunos momentos da pie a unas escenas de acción realmente increíbles y visualmente impresionantes.. siento que es un villano que, al menos a primera instancia, no parece tener mucho grado de amenaza, pero conforme avanza la película, te vas dando cuenta de todo el peligro que puede causar este personaje, que puede parecer ridículo, y posteriormente en las películas venideras explotará aún más todo lo aterrador que puede llegar a ser.

With a length of more than two hours in this movie, there are times when the pace drops a little, but, I think this is not a problem at all, as these scenes, even if they go a little slow, are really beautiful.. even if they could have been cut perfectly without affecting the narrative, it wouldn't be the same, without scenes that show the great talent that the animators have in this production.. And is that sometimes, at least, superhero movies don't focus on showing the beauty of the medium they are working with, as they usually focus on fights, action, and I think that's not all that matters, giving good recognition to the beautiful shots of simpler things may seem goofy, but in this occasion, at least, I loved it.

Also the film tackles interesting themes like identity, responsibility and sacrifice in a rather touching way... there are moments that will make you laugh out loud and others that will maybe make you cry a little, the soundtrack obviously deserves a special mention. Just like in the first movie, the music plays a crucial role in creating the atmosphere and rhythm that encompasses the whole story... each universe has a somewhat distinctive sound, which adds another layer of immersion to the experience, the songs chosen are amazing.... I loved each and every one of them, I think the film does a superb job, balancing the visual spectacle with the character development. Despite all the action and dazzling animation effects, you never lose sight of the heart of the story, which is Miles and his personal journey.

Con una duración de más de dos horas en esta película, hay momentos en los que el ritmo decae un poco, pero, creo que esto no es para nada un problema, ya que estas escenas, aunque vayan un poco lentas, son realmente hermosas.. aunque se hayan podido recortar perfectamente sin afectar a la narrativa, no sería lo mismo, sin escenas que demuestren el gran talento que tienen los animadores en esta producción.. Y es que a veces, por lo menos, las películas de superhéroes no se enfocan en mostrar la belleza del medio con el que están trabajando, ya que normalmente se enfocan a peleas, acción, y creo que eso no es todo lo que importa, dar buen reconocimiento a las hermosas tomas de cosas más simples puede parecer bobo, pero en esta ocasión, al menos, a mí me encantó.

También la película aborda temas interesantes como la identidad, la responsabilidad y el sacrificio de una manera bastante conmovedora.. hay momentos que te harán reír a carcajadas y otros que tal vez te hagan llorar un poco, la banda sonora obviamente merece una mención especial. Al igual que en la primera película, la música juega un papel crucial en la creación de la atmósfera y el ritmo que engloba a toda la historia.. cada universo tiene un sonido algo distintivo, lo que añade otra capa de inmersión a la experiencia, las canciones escogidas están increíbles.. Amé una y cada una de ellas, opino que la película hace un trabajo magnífico, equilibrando el espectáculo visual con el desarrollo de los personajes. A pesar de toda la acción y los efectos de animación deslumbrantes, nunca se pierde de vista el corazón de la historia, el cual es Miles y su viaje personal.

The end of the film is shocking, and certainly leaves you with an incredible desire to know what is going to happen.. without going into spoilers, I will say that it raises some fascinating questions about the fate of the entire multiverse, and of course our main character.. It is one of the endings that has left me most intrigued of all the movies I have seen, I think it is without a doubt a masterpiece, and a worthy sequel in every aspect, for me I feel it surpassed its predecessor, and that was an almost impossible job.

It's a film that pushes all the limits there are and to be, it really is something unique within the animation medium, and clearly in the superhero genre. Yes, it has some imperfections, but they are easily overshadowed by its many virtues. It's a movie that needs to be watched on the biggest screen you have, although I mentioned that it can be a bit overwhelming, I think that watching it on a really powerful device, at maximum quality, is without a doubt one of the most beautiful pleasures you will surely have.

It really is an experience that can leave you excited, moved and eager to delve back into this incredible multiverse. I give it a very powerful 9.8/10 rating. It's not just a great superhero movie, it's a great movie, period. It's the kind of movie that reminds you why you fell in love with the movies in the first place, and in my case, being a huge Spider-Man fan, I thought all the references were spectacular... I think for fans of this character, these movies will no doubt have been a huge heart hug. It is simply not to be missed. If you haven't seen this movie yet, remember to watch the prequel and then watch this one...I'm sure you won't regret it. Very soon, well, not so soon, haha, the third part of this trilogy will be released and I am sure they will close with a bang.... I can't wait to see that. El final de la película es impactante, y sin duda te deja con unas ganas increíbles de saber qué es lo que va a pasar.. sin entrar en spoilers, diré que plantea unas preguntas fascinantes sobre el destino de todo el multiverso, y por supuesto de nuestro personaje principal.. Es uno de los finales que más intrigado me han dejado de todas las películas que he visto, creo que sin duda es una obra maestra, y una digna secuela en todos los aspectos, para mí siento que superó a su predecesora, y eso era un trabajo casi imposible.

Es una película que empuja todos los límites habidos y por haber, realmente es algo único dentro del medio de la animación, y claramente en el género de superhéroes. Sí, tiene algunas imperfecciones, pero son eclipsadas fácilmente por sus numerosas virtudes. Es una película que necesita ser vista en la pantalla más grande que tengas, aunque he mencionado que puede ser un poco abrumadora, creo que verla en un dispositivo realmente potente, a máxima calidad, es sin duda uno de los placeres más hermosos que seguramente tendrán.

Realmente es una experiencia que te puede dejar emocionado, conmovido y ansioso por adentrarte de nuevo a este increíble spider-verso. Yo le doy una poderosísima calificación de 9.8/10. No es solo una gran película de superhéroes, es una gran película y punto. Es el tipo de cine que te recuerda por qué te enamoraste de las películas en primer lugar, y en mi caso, al ser un gran fan de Spider-Man, creo que todas las referencias fueron espectaculares.. Creo que para los fanáticos de este personaje, estas películas sin duda habrán sido un abrazo enorme al corazón. Simplemente, no se la pueden perder. Si aún no han visto esta película, recuerden ver la precuela y luego ver esta.. estoy seguro que no se arrepentirán. Muy pronto, bueno, no tan pronto, jaja, se estrenará la tercera parte de esta trilogía y estoy seguro que cerrarán con broche de oro.. No puedo esperar para ver eso.
