Hola Hivers amantes de las películas y series, en esta ocasión sigo revisando algunas películas que debí haber visto hace tiempo pero que por alguna circunstancia no había podido verlas o las pasaba por alto ante la posibilidad de ver otro estreno. En esta oportunidad quiero comentar sobre una película que se puede disfrutar en la plataforma de Netflix llamada Venganza del Más Allá, debo comentar que esta producción se eliminará del catalogo de este importante servicio de streaming el 14 de octubre ¿es tan mala?
Esta es una película francesa estrenada en el año 2017, esta producción la podemos catalogar dentro del genero de acción y quizás de suspenso, sin embargo, no hay mucho suspenso, por otro lado si leemos el titulo reconoceremos que estamos ante una historia de venganza que a lo largo de los 108 minutos de duración de este film nos mantendrá con cierta intriga.
Sinopsis:
Jen es la compañera de un hombre millonario que la lleva de paseo a una villa en medio del desierto. Las cosas se complican tras una agresión del novio y sus compañeros que la dejan al borde de la muerte, sin embargo, sobrevive y emprende una venganza contra sus agresores con todas las posibilidades en su contra.
Análisis de la Película
Historia
Debo confesar que no soy una persona vengativa, pero me agradan las historias de venganza en las películas, pienso que es una emoción muy humana y que tiene el potencial para hacer saltar de emociones a cualquier espectador, en lo particular las disfruto mucho. Con la esperanza que ningún psicólogo esté leyendo mi post debo decir que este tipo de film me parece entretenido sabiendo que la venganza la intenta llevar a cabo un personaje femenino, algo que sin dudas le añade un condimento extra, el cual produce mucha curiosidad antes de reproducir la película.
Aunque sea un tema interesante bajo mi perspectiva, es necesario decir que existen muchas películas similares donde la protagonista es agredida e incluso violada salvajemente, pero que luego hace que sus agresores definitivamente se arrepientan de sus actos en un conjunto de escenas de sangre y desmembramientos. Sin dudas los amantes de las películas se recordarán de algunas producciones que siguen este guion y esta producción no es la excepción debido a que sigue ese patrón en cuanto a esas otras películas de venganza. No existe algo muy novedoso en esta historia, sin embargo, hay que apreciar la manera en que la directora nos narra esta historia y como le otorga un toque de personalidad interesante a este film.
Personajes y Actuación
Creo que se realiza un trabajo interesante con respecto a las actuaciones y al desarrollo de los personajes, si bien son estereotipos de personajes ya conocidos en la industria del entretenimiento el condimento que le hace resaltar es la actuación, en este caso la actuación de la protagonista es bueno, teniendo en cuenta que este personaje sufre una dramática trasformación y una evolución que nos hace sentir aprecio por este personaje femenino.
La manera en que se desarrolla o evoluciona este personaje es incluso algo que escapa de la lógica o de la psicología que en un principio nos presenta la protagonista, quizás tenia un pasado turbulento que desconocemos pero es una transformación que seguramente muchos espectadores notarán y se asombrarán. Notaremos que el personaje que inició la película es completamente distinto al que termina. Lograr esto puede parecer sencillo pero en cuanto a actuación no lo es.
Fotografía y Juego de Cámaras
La película nos presenta una muy buena calidad en cuanto a fotografía y la ambientación, nos presenta un desierto y una escenografía bastante interesante, por momentos se siente el calor del desierto y el frio de la noche. Los productores realizan un juego de cámaras interesantes, acercamientos que quizás entorpecen por momentos pero que sin dudas son llevados con calidad, un juego de cámaras muy bien trabajado y con una movilidad que puede incluso jugar con nuestros sentidos. Quizás sea de esos aspectos que pasan desapercibidos en muchos de los espectadores, sin embargo, yo noto y aprecio este tipo de trabajos cuando son realizados de buena manera.
¿Sangre y Muerte?
Algo que siempre esperamos ver en este tipo de películas son escenas sangrientas, si la película es narrada correctamente en algún punto deberíamos querer destripar a los agresores, esta producción tiene escenas violentas que esperamos encontrar en este tipo de películas. Tiene escenas de heridas abiertas y sangre saliendo a borbotones. En mi caso creo que hay heridas exageradas, es decir, ya debería morir o quedar al menos inmóvil pero por momentos vemos a los personajes levantarse y seguir. Quizás no es una película recomendada para un medico debido a que puede encontrar algunas exageraciones a lo largo de este film, pero esas exageraciones que por momentos parecen saltarse la lógica logra entretener al espectador y nos hace querer ver la película hasta el final.
¿Suspenso?
En esta película no hay un suspenso significativo o estremecedor, quizás hay algunas escenas donde se puede notar un poco de suspenso en complemento con el juego de cámaras, pero no es algo que sea muy significativo. Esta película sobrepone la acción y escenas sangrientas sobre otros aspectos como el suspenso.
Violencia
Esta película puede ser controvertida por ciertas escenas de agresión hacia la mujer, en este caso recomiendo discreción para personas sensibles en cuanto a estos temas, sin embargo, es bueno que la trama nos haga sentir emociones que fortalezcan el deseo de venganza, para ello debemos tener en cuenta que la protagonista por momentos no la pasará muy bien.

Es una película de venganza que sigue un patrón reconocido encontrado en otras producciones del género, sin embargo, es entretenida de principio a fin. Observamos una increíble transformación de la protagonista y muchas heridas sangrientas que hacen que no nos decepcionemos de esta película a pesar de que es totalmente predecible la trama. Lo he mencionado en muchas ocasiones en que la falta de argumentos en la narrativa puede ser compensado, en este caso con violencia y sangre que incluso por momentos nos preguntaremos como es que sigue con vida o caminando, sin dudas debemos apartar un poco la lógica para ver esta película y disfrutarla.
¿La Recomiendo?
Si, es una película entretenida de venganza, quizás queda en deuda en cuanto al desarrollo de la trama pero la directora de esta producción nos regala un buen personaje femenino que incluso haría temblar a Rambo. Seguramente los amantes de este tipo de historias envueltas en la venganza donde la sangre también es protagonista no se sentirán decepcionados.

I must confess that I am not a vengeful person, but I like revenge stories in movies, I think it is a very human emotion and has the potential to make any viewer jump with emotions, I particularly enjoy them a lot. Hoping that no psychologist is reading my post I must say that I find this kind of film entertaining knowing that the revenge is intended to be carried out by a female character, something that undoubtedly adds an extra spice, which produces a lot of curiosity before playing the movie.
Although it is an interesting topic under my perspective, it is necessary to say that there are many similar movies where the protagonist is assaulted and even savagely raped, but then makes her assailants definitely regret their actions in a set of scenes of blood and dismemberment. No doubt movie lovers will remember some productions that follow this script and this production is no exception because it follows that pattern in terms of those other revenge movies. There is nothing very new in this story, however, you have to appreciate the way the director narrates this story and how she gives an interesting touch of personality to this film.
Characters and Acting.
I think an interesting job is done with respect to the performances and character development, although they are stereotypes of characters already known in the entertainment industry the spice that makes it stand out is the acting, in this case the performance of the protagonist is good, considering that this character undergoes a dramatic transformation and an evolution that makes us feel appreciation for this female character.
The way in which this character develops or evolves is even something that escapes from the logic or psychology that at the beginning the protagonist presents us, maybe she had a turbulent past that we do not know but it is a transformation that surely many viewers will notice and be amazed. We will notice that the character who started the film is completely different from the one who ends it. Achieving this may seem simple but in terms of acting it is not.

The film presents us with a very good quality in terms of photography and setting, it presents us with a desert and a very interesting scenery, at times you can feel the heat of the desert and the cold of the night. In my case I think there are exaggerated wounds, that is, he should already die or be at least immobile but at times we see the characters get up and go on. Perhaps it is not a film recommended for a doctor because you can find some exaggerations throughout this film, but those exaggerations that at times seem to skip the logic manages to entertain the viewer and makes us want to see the film until the end.

I have mentioned on many occasions that the lack of arguments in the narrative can be compensated, in this case with violence and blood that even at times we will wonder how it is that he is still alive or walking, no doubt we must set aside a little logic to see this movie and enjoy it.
Do I recommend it?
Yes, it's an entertaining revenge movie, perhaps it remains in debt in terms of plot development but the director of this production gives us a good female character that would even make Rambo tremble. Surely lovers of this type of stories wrapped in revenge where blood is also the protagonist will not be disappointed.
