Has anyone here watched Shōgun?

I was watching all the videos I saw on YouTube about Japanese history for research last week and I remembered I encountered an advertisement about Shōgun which is also related to what I was studying, I decided to watch it on Disney Plus and was surprised that Hiroyuki Sanada is the main role of it, if you happen to watch john wick 3, he is the Japanese friend of john who helped him fight off his enemies, and who also has a beautiful Japanese daughter at that movie too, which also piqued my interest hahaha yes i love Japanese characters in movies especially when they have a warm character.

A fun fact about it too is that Hiroyuki Sanada is also directing this series, I watched behind-the-scenes and interviews about this out of the fun because I can't wait for a new episode to come so I'm filling myself in with it. I discovered and quite amazed at how hardworking Sanada-san is, from acting to directing, like wow. I just wish he doesn't overdo it though because I still want him to be healthy and for him to finish off this series because it's a very interesting one, I'm all for the tea with the history of Shōgun era, a full admiration of how strategically brilliant they were back then,

I had thought that this was already completed, but I later found out it's a new series made this year. damn it! like it's a bit disappointing because I don't like to wait for weeks just to watch one episode and get cliff hanged after, it's just a bummer for excitement that will keep me wondering for days what will happen next, I'm someone who can't wait you see, but since I started this already, I'm already hooked and don't have a choice but to wait.

Today shogun episode 3 will be released and I'm excited to watch this later! If you are into histories of Japan with beautiful cinematography this one is for you though, this is highly recommended!
