¡Saludos a la comunidad y a todos los hivers!
Desde que salió esta pelÃcula tenÃa muchas ganas de verla y es del maestro del cine contemporáneo, Martin Scorsese, la proyección se ilumina con la pelÃcula épica "Los asesinos de la luna", una obra maestra cinematográfica de más de tres horas y media que nos lleva como espectador a un viaje de tensión y reflexión.
La inspiración detrás de este ambicioso proyecto llegó cuando Scorsese, conocido por sus obras maestras como "Shutter Island" y "The Wolf of Wall Street", se sumergió en las páginas del libro de no ficción de David Grann, "Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI", publicado en 2017. La narrativa se basa en los espeluznantes crÃmenes que asolaron la tribu Osage en la década de 1920 en la amplitud del oeste estadounidense.

Para mà la cinematografÃa de la pelÃcula es un trabajo limpio del mexicano Rodrigo Prieto y resalta el paisaje en las tierras de Oklahoma, llevando a las ricas tierras petroleras consagrando la paleta de colores de la naturaleza en un lenguaje cinematográfico inundado de creatividad en esas planicies. Es un buen año para el mexicano ya que también hizo un excelente trabajo en la multimillonaria pelÃcula de Barbie llevando la fotografÃa a un estilo muy plástico. Siempre me llama la atención la iluminación que desborda la cinta cinematográfica en conjunto con los movimientos de cámara para establecer lo que él busca para crear reacción en el espectador como: sentimientos, rabia, amor, etc.
En una de las escenas explota una casa (ver la siguiente imagen) y crea la hábil gestión de la incertidumbre por parte del director se traduce en una reacción inmediata y visceral. La paleta de colores, en la que tonalidades oscuras, como el azul nocturno, juegan un papel destacado, se combina con un contraste dinámico de blanco y negro por el humo. Esta elección no solo enmarca la imagen, sino que también complementa la narrativa expresiva de cada actor y la complejidad de sus expresiones faciales.
La música de Robbie Robertson al estilo de la tribu americana Osage y muy de los años 1920. Pude percibir que utilizan tambores, flautas, instrumento de percusión, etc. Utilizan canciones en rituales asà como logré escuchar música de fiesta, música espiritual para conectar con sus ancestros. Lo que más me impresionó fue esa mezcla que utilizó Robertson con guitarras eléctricas con ese estilo rock ligado con soul, aportando a la musicalización algo más moderno que caracteriza la gran originalidad de Robertson.
La musicalización, por tanto, no es un simple acompañamiento, sino un componente narrativo esencial que enriquece la experiencia cinematográfica. La unión de los instrumentos tradicionales con la expresividad contemporánea de las guitarras eléctricas teje un sonido único, imbuyendo a la pelÃcula de una identidad musical auténtica y resonante. Este enfoque revela una sofisticación técnica y creativa que se alinea con la visión distintiva de Scorsese y la capacidad única de Robertson para dar vida a la conexión cultural y temporal en el tejido musical de la pelÃcula. Me entristece saber que Robbie Robertson falleció el 9 de agosto de 2023 y la pelÃcula está dedico a él.
El diseñador de vestuario y el artista de maquillaje tuvieron una tarea muy profunda para llevar a los personaje a esa época, como los de la tribu indÃgena de Estados Unidos. Los Osage usaban en sus rituales plumas y pintura para conectar con su gente. Los hombres usaban pantalones con camisas de manga, sombreros, moccasins. Las mujeres Osage usaban faldas muy largas con blusas, prendas artesanales y moccasins, joyas.
El largometraje tiene esa visión en lo que vivió los Osage por las personas de piel blanca con ese racismo y ese egoÃsmo humano en no dejar que otros por ser diferentes tenga más dinero que ellos. ¿Por qué aún el humano sigue siendo un ser tan ambicioso? eso va en cada persona, todos queremos tener una buena vida, pero no como criminales, aunque hay algunos que quieren obtener las cosas fáciles.

Ever since this film came out I've been looking forward to seeing it and it's from the master of contemporary cinema, Martin Scorsese, the screening is illuminated by the epic film "Killers of the Flower Moon", a cinematic masterpiece of over three and a half hours that takes the viewer on a journey of tension and reflection.
The inspiration behind this ambitious project came when Scorsese, known for masterpieces such as "Shutter Island" and " The Wolf of Wall Street," delved into the pages of David Grann's non-fiction book, "Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI," published in 2017. For me the cinematography of the film is clean work by Mexican Rodrigo Prieto and highlights the landscape in the lands of Oklahoma, leading to the rich oil lands enshrining the color palette of nature in a cinematic language flooded with creativity in those plains. Robbie Robertson's music very much in the style of the American Osage tribe and very 1920s. I could perceive that they use drums, flutes, chase, etc. They use songs in rituals as well as I managed to hear party music, spiritual music to connect with their ancestors. The costume designer and makeup artist had a very profound task to bring the characters to that era, like those of the Native American tribe. The Osage used feathers and paint in their rituals to connect with their people. The men wore pants with sleeved shirts, hats, moccasins. Osage women wore very long skirts with blouses, handcrafted garments and moccasins, jewelry.
The film has that vision of what the Osage lived through for the white people with that racism and that human selfishness in not letting others have more money than them because they are different.
